Wii U putting pressure on Playstation 4 release

PlayStation Europe boss Jim Ryan has confessed to Eurogamer that the company would prefer to launch the PlayStation 4 sooner rather than later due to Nintendo’s announcement that the company will release its Wii U console sometime after April 2012.



“I think we would consider it undesirable to be significantly later than the competition [with the next PlayStation].”

cant wait to see what Sony can do with the Playstation 4, hopefully we get more info later, nice share longy :)

unless the wii u makes severe changes to its friends list setup and get rid of the kiddie games or at least keep them to a minimum and include a trophy or achievement system i dont see the wii u being as successful as ps4 or 720

Especially if its only just as powerful as the current generation of consoles too, would imagine that Sony and Microsoft's next offerings will pack a bit more power under the hood.
