Timothy Williams, composer for films and video games alike, has revealed an interesting title on his resume. It seems that he’s been working on God of War IV, the long awaited but as of yet unannounced title for Sony’s PlayStation 3 console. In theory, you could qualify this as a leak, but since the game is practically inevitable, it’s not exactly earth-shattering news. Sony is probably pretty miffed, though.

The company has of course refused to comment, stating that they do not respond to rumors regarding their upcoming products. Williams confirmed to Joystiq that the listing was accurate, and clarified that he was not working as the primary composer (that honor goes to Tyler Bates). God of War IV has been hinted at by previous job listings by Sony, but hilariously the whole thing is still unconfirmed.

For now, you’ll just have to accept that yes, there is a God of War IV and yes, it’s coming out eventually. Sony will certainly make an announcement soon – they’re running out of time in the current console cycle.

Are you ready for another GoW?

Well shit he killed the balance of the world, so the world below and very likely olympus is fucked, he spared aphrodite (Can't blame him:P) and he completed his revenge. So unless they go back to his days as a spartan warrior or if they (God forbid) go with what some video showed a while ago it being in the present during some middle east war.
One thing I feel might go well, is if they alter and recreate the Iliad and the Odyysey from Homer, but that might extremely hard to pull off even more so successfully
