I ask therefore i don't know, i ask therefore i shall know. I received a nasty private message stating that since i do not put forth as much effort into this as many others when it comes to modding dungeon defenders, may i remind and shed light on the fact that I am NOT A KNOW IT ALL and that I DO NOT TRY TO KNOW IT ALL. I am simply a house wife type at best with a Xbox 360, spare time, and a computer. If you don't like everyone or myself asking questions maybe you shouldn't post how to's on a site that uses the term Forum. Cause natural blonde, idiots, beginners, and anyone else is going to ask alot of dumb questions till they learn. You got to college to take a class to learn you ask dumb questions there to learn and therefore you become something that you weren't. Just asking you give me the chance and the time of day to ask what idiotic questions i have so that i may one day be as good as you think you are... :raage:

You won't learn anything if you don't ask questions..........no matter how silly they might seem. We're all noobs in the begining. You have to start somewhere.

:have a nice day:

Or, if you're a GTA fan, you can always dial those cheat numbers into the cell phone! ^-^

Anyway, welcome to the site. We encourage questions here. A nasty PM that scorns you for asking questions is the kind of thing we try to avoid, as it's the reverse of the spirit we put forth. 360haven is supposed to be the modding site with the best community, so it kind of falls apart when we actually don't have that community. If somebody sends you something mean, be sure to report it to a moderator, they're all friendly and love to help.

You're right, everybody did start somewhere. I even remember my beginnings as if they were yesterday, and there were a lot of things I didn't understand that (looking back on them now) were extremely simple. People learn by asking questions, so don't be afraid to ask. Welcome to the haven, and I hope you'll stay despite that experience.

When I first joined the original site I knew absolutely nothing, I didn't know how to connect my HDD to the PC, what resigning was or how to use any of the save editors kindly provided by the developers. Hell, I didn't even know save editors even existed for the 360.

The only reason I know anything now is because I asked alot of questions, which were then answered by the good people on here. Like Emerald says, we are a community and 99% of people on here will be only too happy to help should you need it.

In short, if you want to know something, ask away!!!

I was exactly the same way.............clueless. Then I found this site and all of a sudden I was on a learning frenzy. Now I'm modding my own saves and hex editing this and that, etc etc.....all thanks to the talented people here who make the awesome programs and tutorials and give the right advice. I can already see my noob status drifting slow off into the distance lol!
