The popular 'cyberlocker' web site has not released a full announcement on the situation but presented users with a short message on its homepage. Megaupload's web site has been shut down and seven people associated with it arrested for alleged money laundering, racketeering and copyright infringement.


The message tells users they can now only use the web site only to upload and access their own files. It has also stopped its reward scheme that saw users earn money each time one of their files was downloaded.

Yep, but Fileserve was useless anyways, they limited the Premium users even though they say Premium users can download UNLIMITED stuff.

this really sucks for me because i got lifetime premium, which is pretty much useless now XD

All file sharing compaies would be wise to move everything off US soil otherwise more will follow suit like MU
