1K means 1000, its a set of saves that unlock all 1000 achievement points for that particular game

not to be a dick, but as far as i can tell this unlocks offline achievements. its only 860, not 1k. unless i'm doing something wrong and certain saves unlock online achievements.

Thanks very much - I was collecting pigeons via the strategy guide and I got them all but the game said I still had to get one - I couldn't be bothered to go around and find all 200 again so this save set was a god send

Yeah it is just the offline achievments 860 and 250 + 250 for the DLC (1360GS). All online achievments saves do not work so were never part of the set.
edit: there was a version 4 of this save set i made many years ago that inluded all the DLC as well.

edit: there was a version 4 of this save set i made many years ago that inluded all the DLC as well.
Would be nice to have Version 4. Google wasn't much help.

It means there is a savegame file or set of savegame files that allow you to get the 1000 gamerscore for a game (GTA IV in this case) really quickly/easily.
