Thank you very much for your great editor. It reduces the needed playtime dramatically. Thanks to that I was able to finish the game in my less free time. :thumbsup:

No errors occurred while playing. The editor works flawless.

I test out the whole software for PS3 version and it works really great. And i notice every time i start to play the game when i left off it would max out my CP again and again; every time i load up my save file. Just to make sure all PS3 user it still works without problems so its safe to use. By any chance will their be update for more options in PS3 version for gil or items? It would help on leveling my monsters quick and help me raise my monster to perfect str, mag, and hp.

Thanks for the editor, now I have a question and it might have already of been asked since I didnt look through the other pages, but will there ever be a level editor added into it so i can make my role levels back to 1 so i can level up again?

No; their is no way for them to check your save data & you sure be okay. I am on the PS3 and i have not got ban yet so i am still okay and i ask my friend to check it out as well on his xbox 360 too. And he told me his account is still good and their is your answer. So don't worry you'll good dude. :)

The fact that most of the times that doesn't happen with your own data doesn't mean that they can't ban you at all. I'm asking though, I don't know that myself, I never used modding tools online, but I did hear of people banned for gamesaving.
And the PSN is less controlled than LIVE.

True you can get ban but only if you tell them you during that then you can get ban. You can get ban for many things in PS3 or Xbox360 but i am yet to be ban once. Using tool to change your game data won't get you ban unless you unlock every trophy in the same time frame. like i got it at 1.50pm for 30 trophys then you could get ban or so, unless their check your info.

Well this is going to end bad so i am going to stop giving you answer, ask others about it then you'll know how to do it without getting ban & ect. My way for telling it is little bit off and i can't say for sure. I test them out but with only 100% sure i won't get ban once for bad things like that. If you take other game data to cheat then for trophy's then its waste (You may or may not get ban for it) i can't say for sure on that. Sense i never got ban once for trying it out on one game before. When i did it i have my trophys pop up at the same & never got ban for it once. IT would be ease if their allow gamers to see if their account is in good standing.

PS: I am lost in words & can't say for sure on that just ask other s who know more on it & fully understand it.

PS2: for me i never got ban so i think its because Sony don't care SEN or PSN data being cheated on or something.

hi first of all thanks for your work and the great editor,
but i have one problem. everytime when i load my PS3 save local,
there is opening a window where i can set the hp, cp, attack... on max.
but how i can edit my inventory??

So far they havent given the PS3 the same options as the 360 n there is no telling how long it will take them. Just gotta take what we can get.

great work all in one tool only thing it didnt add any dlc chars an when i optimize my item it equip weapons in accessories slot i not sure its due me adding all item aaccessories with the tool

it shoudnt matter , but the tool may be a little buggy... dont worry about that , there will be much more updates till its 100% bugfree , and all other stuff are added.

This update is amazing i am gonna have to start a new file on both FF13 and FF13-2 hehehe. Noticed one small issue with the FF13 part of the save editor. When i try and add accessories like the bangles or anything else that increases stats the stat increase is +0. I tried upgrading them but the items max out at a very low number (Rajin Ring ends up adding +10% electricity damage resistance instead of +40% at its max level). Everything else works fine as far as i can tell. Thanks again for this amazing editor and all the work you put into it.

i keep getting bad weapon list error even in a new game save with just starting shizzz and it wont write the stuff when i click save so i coppied the error code to show ya

Nice options on the update for the editor, however, there must be a bug since it loads my monsters wrong and whenever I load the edited save in the game, my originals monsters have been replaced with level 1 monsters (most of which I didn't have before) and some monsters marked as "unknown". Anyway to fix that or am I stuck with just using 3.3? I also must have missed the 3.4 update LOL.

yes there may be some bugs,and working on it , it need some time..

in v3.5.0.0 is no way to avoid monster editing /weapons or items, if the tool loads your monsters incorrect, then i suggest you dont change stuff , and keep it that way, till the bug is fixed.

i equiped my characters with the strongest weap/accessoires , and i'm invincible :P , my 6 atb bars fills within 2 secs , and no one can hurt me :P

Maybe if we steer clear from the Monster section we can at least modify other things?

(and yes i know those "ultimate stuff" don't exist, it would be nice to know what set-up you use and what combination you used to become almost invincible lol)

i have to boot up the game ...witch is not possible atm.
but what i did is add all weapons & accessoires then choose the weapon with highest passive Abilitie , and the same with accessoires.

but its a combination with statics mods (health strengt ect) and good equipments , you can kill every boss within 60 seconds.

Please be more specific.

What HP amount are you trying to mod it to? And also explain what tools you're using for extracting/putting back the Save.
This way we can get a better idea of where it might be going wrong. Also uploading your Save might be handy as well in case all else fails. Then we can at least check the Save itself out.

So what do you think, can we use the editor without accessing the monster area, and it'll leave the current monsters alone?
Also, -if- the monsters do get reset to Level 1 (and assuming there's no way around it at this time), will they also lose their abilities learnt? (The ones you got via Infusion and stuff).

Notice its not a save editor!! If anything, all I would like to see is a save editor that lets you get max monster materials with the concept of jumping into battle with certain monsters. I can care less about anything else. Max Equip Capacity does not work... and who knows how long before PS3 users get the good ol' options Xbox 360 users get. Props to the guru's who made these editors, but it does PS3 users no good if u can hex edit the same values in those editors!

its works find with 100 slots if i go somewere past 11k it messing up save or could it be stats str an mag i really didn test it i didnt want spend all day trying fig it out

i just wanted to say thanks for this awesome editor and tho i haven't really modded too much in my game i have i have also not had any of the problems some of the people here seem to be having so this editor to me is just the bees knees :) thank you very much for all the hard work you have put into making this editor

Great work and great editor, nothing to say about this, i just have some problems with (only) the 3.5 version

1) Every time i edit a file, the editor set my monster's level to 1, and alter their str/mag/hp values. It also remove their abilities.
2) When i add all of the accessiories, it also add all weapons as accessories with an equipment cost equal to zero. It's cool, but i was not sure if it was a bug or a new feature.
3) The editor does not recognize Odin:
- if i try to add Odin to the monster list, in game it appears as "unknown monster"
- if i edit a save game file where i got Odin, it simply disappear ^^"
4) Using the feature "add all monster", i see they have different basic values of hp/str/mag

By the way, thanks for this great editor, it really helped my to 100% complete the game, i would never have such patience!


p.s. is there a way to add jihl Nabaat (to the monster list) editing the .txt monster file list?

3) The editor does not recognize Odin:
- if i try to add Odin to the monster list, in game it appears as "unknown monster"
- if i edit a save game file where i got Odin, it simply disappear ^^"
4) Using the feature "add all monster", i see they have different basic values of hp/str/mag

By the way, thanks for this great editor, it really helped my to 100% complete the game, i would never have such patience!


p.s. is there a way to add jihl Nabaat (to the monster list) editing the .txt monster file list?

Seems it's not just the monster level only though, the current abilities on the monsters are being overwritten as well, it's as if the monster itself is being completely reset. So I hope you're able to work around that issue.

That's normal. The accessories are being injected into the Save, so it messes up the order of your inventory. Simply reorder it in-game, and re-equip the character's equipments. (at least it worked that way in FF13).

Yes, I have got save on the computer (in .dat format) and on the USB (in .tmp format). On the 360, I haven't got save. And I want know what I put the computer's save on the USB...

USB are recognized by 360, the only problem is the save format, and to put .dat save on USB.

Hi~ About the .tmp file, It doesn't work in 360. System can't find it.
I suggested you re-download(delete or move it to somewhere first) your save in 360 again.
And once you done the modified(when you choose file-->save), please wait the successful pop-up window. Then choose file-->"Close".
This .tmp is cause by when system encrypting your save file encountered interruption. I've several times for that.

This editor is cool,but its keeps messing up my monsters even if i dont edit any of them and if i try to level them up it freezes up my whole xbox360 console.I have tried only editing a little at a time thinking that would help but it still corrupts my monsters,it also makes the catastrophe blade (noels weapon) appear on sarahs back.

I have ffxiii and ffxiii-2 both pal for ps3. When i load a save from ffxiii-2, a small window pops up with the options for serah and noel for max hp, cp etc. When i load my ffxiii save it does the same thing. Are ps3 saves not supported yet or am i doing something wrong.

PS: When i loaded my ffxiii-2 save it was modded allright

here's what i do...
1) load game, and remove monsters from paradigm deck and save game.
2) either put save onto usb or memory card
3) put save onto pc (desktop) and also put a copy of save into another folder called Back-up
4) load up editor, and load up save into editor
5) select monster tab and hit add all monsters. save changes and then put the save back onto your xbox

if you require a normal stat monster, i.e lighting Hp 7751, str 960, mag 742 atb 5, then i would recomend that you use genesis editor that has a normalise all stats for monsters button.
any problems, then post back here with detailed description to what you do...
the more detailed you are, the easier it will be to help. good luck

Love the editor, it's amazing, but I only have one problem. Is there any way to use it without having all my monsters overwritten?

I've tried only changing the monster materials, and yet somehow when I load the save back on the 360, all my monsters were changed.

I would try Genesis/Echelo's, but it kept getting errors no matter what I tried when trying to load/find the save.

O.K. Really nice job on this mod tool. I have found a few issues while using the FF XIII editor I have not tried the XIII-2 editor yet.

When You open save from USB this is what happens; I have not been able to reproduce this error in any other circumstance.

Error 2: When this error below occurs your save file is screwed. If you save the file after any edits when this error is produced your inventory will be blank and which ever character has bad stats will also be set to usually 0 stats.

The solution I found was to correct the stat that was incorrect before opening up the save with this tool. ( use any method you choose just not this tool for that step) The stat causing this issue is the ATB being higher than 6 so say you have it set for 6 and in game you unlock another ATB bar by one of 3 ways; Equip a Tier 3 Ultimate weapon, Unlock an ATB by Crystarium ATB and I think reach level 10 on the Crystarium skills. In short use other tool to change ATB bar number to 6 or lower in 3rd party tool in most case they will show up as 0 or blank in other editors if it is infact higher than 6. once that is done open up in FF XIII-2 SE and load save as normal should be good to go.

I have not used Action Replay devices since first generation Xbox consoles.
Transfer save from USB to Desktop then open that save from there.

how do you edit the monster's stats? i changed the hp to 99999 on the right and i clicked on save changes but the monster's health did not change.

EDIT: also i noticed that my monsters were changed when i loaded up my save in the editor. The editor shows me monsters i don't even have. Is there gonna be a fix for this? The monster tab should really be looked at.

Does anyone know what the hex offset is for the Datalog's Enemy Intel for Final Fantasy XIII? I have all enemies checked off, but I never fought the Wyvern; so it's not listed in the intel.

is there a editor like this for the first final fantasy 13 (ps3 version) or some hex addresses for max hp, str, mag, max cp and gil. I know this might not be the right site but so far, I cant find a better site than this for final fantasy editors both xbox360 and potential ps3. I have watched a vid on utube showing the hex offsets for ff13-2 and was wondering if the same offsets can be used for ff13. I have modified the ff13 save game app.dat with Hxd using the same offsets but havnt tried loading up the save yet to see if any changes. edit I noticed in the picture on the first page theres an editor for the first final fantasy 13 game, is that for xbox360 or ps3 and where is the download link for it?, the download link posted only contains the ff13-2 editor. When i open ff13 appdat (ps3) a editor does pop up but its a diff one and theres no max gil or monster items, components etc option.

the FFXIII-2 tool for ps3 i made was a lucky shot because the info for modding the the save was availible on the net.

Seems like I can no longer successfully edit my item inventory..
Any and all items I try adding like ethersol, decepisol, aegisol etc.. will fail and give me some garbled item name with a crazy number in the 2000-3000 number range.. Plus, all the weapons I had injected earlier and upgraded fully to each party members final weapon grinded to the max with materials; all reset back to lvl .1

What gives? I can't get the editor to fix the issues either.. Tried removing problem ghost item names and then re-adding desired items with quantity only to experience more bizarre item problems in-game. Also need to re-grind all weapons to max again, not sure why its not sticking at all. Anyone have problems like that?

Can I get some help from somebody? I've been using the Max Cap and Max CP option for my PS3 save and for some reason, the Max Cap is not working for Serah (Noel is at 245). At first her max stayed at 100 and when I tried to use it again, it actually dropped to 64. Is anyone else getting this problem?

Stupid question may be, but my old PS3 broke months ago, before I finished FFXIII. I want to play FFXIII again before playing FFXIII-2.
There used to be many of PS3 FFXIII save editors but not now :( I came here (XBox360 forum, right?) for the title xD~

Oi lad! That editor you downloaded IS for both XIII-2 and the original XIII. The topic doesn't say "editors". It's singular.
Try opening the save file you want to modify, it'll work. I just downloaded it to test that, and it opened up my XIII save.

Almost similar problem here, difference that my monster section all reset to level0 and all got replaced by other type of monster. Weird thing is i only change GIL amount.

Hello All,

I'm new here an just downloaded the Editor zip, unzipped it, but it cant find my usb mem stick in the program I've tried all my mem sticks even tried putting it on my laptop an chose the local ps3 option, then click on my save game the the app file,
an it comes up as the Serak an Noel editor stuff. Please help as I am trying to complete FF XIII 1st one before I move onto FF XIII 2.

Ok disregard my earlier above post, just went threw all the last 69 pages an found out that this editor is FF XIII/XIII-2 for xbox and FF XIII-2 for ps3.
There is NO editor currently for FF XIII ps3.

Damn thing resets all my monsters to the same things every time i start it up.

i dont want to use lightning - nor can i, i dont have the DLC - However, the game says save file is corrupted the moment i try to load because of this.

If you don't have all the DLC, i wouldn't touch this editor.

So annoying, ALL changes should be optional >.>

Monster defaults - on a save game with no monsters --> Amodar, Omega, Lightning, Sazh, Silver Lobo.

I am seriously loving my 360 right now.
This editor is super stable.

I only have one question.

Does anybody know how to use the editor without your monsters getting erased? Is there any trick to use before saving to ensure that you get to keep your monsters as is?
I love maxing the monster materials and building up new monsters I find. However at the moment, I can be pretty sure that if I use the editor I will gain the materials and loose my custom monsters.

EDIT - No Worries. I used the remove all and select all method and have all the monsters now which allows me to select the ones I want and ignore the others.

i downloaded the ff13 save file editor since it said for ps3 and xbox 360 and the save file editor seems to be for final fantasy 13-2 Jappi do you have the ps3 one for final fantasy 13 i am stuck at a point that is 2 hard for me get stuck at the cystal Sarah thing where u have to battle that monster

It seems that the codes for monsters is screwed up as it does not properly display the name of monsters, as well as completely changing the monsters in party if the save is modified in any way.

Im modding for the 360 when I extract file from usb to computer i have no problems however after modding when i put into horizon, after rehashing,saving,reassinging i try to transfer back to usb and i get error message "if you see developer tell him this. value was either to large or to small for a ulnt32" any suggestions on how to fix this? thanks

There seems to be a problem with " add all " weapons under FF13 Save area ... it stops at 99% and doesn't load the stats for the weapons it all comes out as +0

There are 73 pages to look through here, so I'm sure it's already been answered, but I don't believe I can look through all those. :006: The save editor works perfectly for me, well except for two things....And they're kind of a big problem. :( Here is the deal when I load it up the monster editor throws out all my monsters and throws and some random People like Omega(I beat multiple times and never unlocked) and Sazh(I don't even have his dlc), so I thought, this will be easy to work around. So I removed all those monsters and put in my all monsters that I originally had, but when I loaded it up. All my monsters. Except a Cactuar :011: All show up as Unknown Monster. Every other part of the editor works Perfectly for me, it's just no matter what. I can't keep my monsters. Please help me.

I already beat the game and just wanna be wacky in it now.

Great editor thanks, I have a problem though, Whenever I select my save (From Local PS3) so I click the APP file
but It doesnt allow me to edit the gil, items etc, it only pops out this box that says Max CP Max STR etc, which I dont want. I'm only editing the items and gil.

Please can someone clarify this? Or I might be doing something wrong

but It doesnt allow me to edit the gil, items etc, it only pops out this box that says Max CP Max STR etc, which I dont want. I'm only editing the items and gil.

Please can someone clarify this? Or I might be doing something wrong

Sadly thats all that can be modified in the PS3 version. The rest of the stuff only works for xbox360 saves.

I use this to edit my FFXIII (note NOT XIII-2), and generally it works great!

I only get one real issue, and its rather tragic.

When ever I edit my save, load it back up on my XBOX360 all my equipment and accessories are messed up!

For example:

Everyones equipment is wrong - Fair enough i can cope and reset it all

ALL and i mean ALL Weapons and Acces. are dropped to 0. EG - Power Wrist - before edit +200 Strength, post edit 0 strength...Omega Weapon..post edit..all zeros..

This happends for all weps and accs...


Making this really impossible.

Any help to what im doing wrong would be great.

Hi everyone im new to 360 Haven, but ive mod a few games before... i have this problem tho with this Editor. i only mod my gil and items then save after that i load my game from usb on xbox and i get this failed to load data error. Had an issue with modding FFXIII... Produces an error on save when trying to pull from USB directly. It loads fine, and you can tweak the stats, etc. but when you click to save (after saying yes to the backup) it generates an "Unhandled Exception" error. 10200

I tinkered with it for a while and found a workaround. I extracted the save from my USB with Horizon and then loaded using the "Local (XBOX)". Made the tweaks, and then the save worked fine. I then inserted back into the FFXIII save folder on my USB using Horizon and everything was good to go at that point.

Windows 7 64-bit Ultimate 8 GB Ram, SP1, all latest updates. Did reboots, etc. to try to fix, FYI...

Hi Guys,

I'm a total new on this forum AND moding ps3 games... But I learn quickly so that should cut it :-)

When I open the editor and try to load a save game from the stick, It doesn't find any. Loading it from the Local[PS3], it does but it stays on the FF13-2 screen. I'm trying to edit a FF13 save...
I choose decrypt, select the APP data but nothing happens...

Where do I go wrong?
I didn't touch the PS3, it has the latest update and I didn't change anything in it.

PLEASE HELP!

Your problem is you are trying to add too many values for your crystarium. The max value it can handle would be "999999" Same thing for your HP. Just set it to 99999. The game is only programmed to handle so much. Those values I gave you worked perfectly. Don't use the max button on every save editor you use. Always research what the "true" max value is. Then input it manually.

Now, I am terribly sorry for the double post, but I came here with an issue of my own. I'm using the Final Fantasy XIII-2 save editor, which has worked pretty good thus far. The problem I am having now is that when I load up my save file in the editor, it is force changing my monsters to random crazy stuff. I would like for it to not try my stuff.
Everything has worked on this editor except for the monster editor in the back of the program. No idea how to fix this issue, as it seems to be technical side. Not software I created, so I will not dissect it and fix the issue, if I could even find it in the first place.
