Kingdoms of Amalur: FateWeavers......Good or Bad?
Hey guys I've just discovered my first FateWeaver in Kingdoms of Amalur and for a fee was able to reset my character while in game. Apparently you can do it as many times as you like providing you have the gold. They are NOT cheap either lol!
I was just wondering what you guys think of being able to do this? Good idea or bad?
FYI its Kingdoms of AMALUR........I've noticed a few people spelling it wrong lol!

the price of it goes up with every respec as well. If you mod your money, it shouldn't be a problem. Also, if you max out alchemy and learn all the recipes, you can respec and put no points into it and still have all the recipes learned :)
This is very common in MMOs which kind of the lay out they were following.
Re: Kingdoms of Amalur: FateWeavers......Good or Bad?
Yeah, they are following MMOs due to the fact it is a prequel to an MMO. This was really not done until about 5 years ago though. I kind of want the game, but do not have it. I do not see why this would be a bad thing in a game, unless there is an absolute end to the game. I guess it would allow you to try multi different classes to see which one you like, but eh whatever.

I played the demo and talked to a fateweaver but you don't really get to do much in the demo lol I like the idea of respec npcs...some games you figure out you just really wasted something and it gives you a chance to start fresh....gives a lil more freedom to games...btw how is it I just ordered it from gamefly but I have like a 5 day wait lol

Like that 38 Studios put the option in. To many times in a single player game have I picked something by mistake and been stuck with it.
