This is much faster b/c you don't need to do an extra step putting the save file back manually every time you want to mod it
I've already tried this. It freezes no matter what. I've tried USB mode, horizon, modio 4 beta and its the same no matter what. Have you gotten this version to work for you?
Re: [FINAL] Final Fantasy XIII-2 Save Editor
Is the USB mode supposed to detect anything, or does it rely on you knowing your profile id? I find myself not using the program in this mode, and using external programs since I don't have my profile id written down anywhere, and have never needed to manually enter it anywhere.

When I first click USB mode it asked me to enter a profile ID, I just copied it over from another save and it no longer ask me to enter a profile ID when I click USB mode.
Edit: Ok so I used a clean save with the editor(I could save and go back to the historia crux as usual), all I did this time was open it(USB mode) and left it the same. I saved it and even with nothing modded it still freezes my console if I try to save or go back to the historia crux.

Did you rehash and resign, with a program such as Modio?

Yes when I used the method of extracting the save I R&R with modio/horizon although the editor itself said it R&R itself. With USB mode I didn't try to R&R.
Heres my save if someone would be kind enough to just edit something small, doesn't really matter. I just wanna see if maybe its my file thats all screwed up although I did create more than one clean saves. http://www.mediafire.com/?aaeuu33foaoks8g

Its the winmm.dll issue. I verified on another computer. You may have to update windows media player, but I'm thinking about just taking the sound file out, or re-working the way the sound file is called.
