I click the "Monster Stat Editor", and it brings me up to another screen that have a list of my monsters, and I can edit their stat (HP, STR, MAG, etc).
So if I edit a monster that I don't have, will it shows up in my game? And how do I know what their original stat is?
Thanks

Yes it will show up in your game, just make sure there are no 0s for that monster. The only way to know original stats on a monster is either Final Fantasy Wikia, Bestiary, etc... Best thing to do is the normalize all stats button, though you might wanna have a copy of your save running so you can copy the stats of some monsters into the editor if you do normalize all, because it normailzes to level 1 monsters. Also make sure you have no monsters in you paradigm pack, because it's just a big hassle.

Ahh thanks. That makes sense. How about the DLC monster such as lightning, omega, amodar? If I don't have the DLC can I use the editor to get them?

You will need the DLC to get them.
Re: [FINAL] Final Fantasy XIII-2 Save Editor
First things first great editor I love it, thank you. But if anyone can answer these questions it would be much appreciated.
1 Is there anyway to make the screens smaller such as the monster stat editor my screen is small and it cuts off max out, save...?
2 I've been messing around with the party editor and after a couple tries I got it to work but the abilities could not be changed, it changed in the save editor but not the actual game I started battles with all autos (bravery faith...) I had all abilities as if i clicked max abilities button, which I don't want, I deselected those abilities and they still activate (I was using Vanille and Fang) stats were fine though, any fix or if I did anything wrong?
3 Not sure if it's a glitch/bug or has to be this way but I noticed when monsters appear the lead edited in character, it was Vanille at the time, runs roughly twice as fast.
4 Finally will you guys be able to add preemptive strikes for edited in characters or is it a glitch/bug for now (still Vanille)?
-I have all dlc accept omega, Noel's battle outfit, and Azreal weapon. Thank you for the answers in advance.

I'm not sure if these party mods are to be fully functional characters b/c they aren't suppose to be playable. You have to keep in mind that these are just "what if mods" but Echelo has stated that he will add a few things to the characters to make them more effective.

If you click Normalize stats, and take notes, you can get their normal stats. Then close the Monster editor without saving, re-open the monster editor, and put in the stats you got from the normalize button. It will add any monster whos stats are greater then 0.
