nope sorry... that's not possible...
it will take too much effort to make such feature possible... and it's not really worth it...
too much work... have to research every single bit of the savefile to get something like that to work properly for this game that such research will take way too much time... time i don't really have atm...
and besides its easier to just create a piece of equipment in the game and then mod it in the editor

well first you need to material for the equipment you want to build... normally you will get all the materials you need if you get most of the chests and hidden treasure to create some weapon types before you even reach the first blacksmith...
if you got all the materials you just go to the blacksmith and just create your equipment
once you created the item you will be prompted to name it...
al you have to do is give it a name... best is if its name that is longer than 10 chars... so you can find it easier in the editor
once done naming... save and get your savefile to your pc load it with the editor and in the item window just search for the name you've given your item...
then you can edit it...
just remember don't add too much effects at once... ^_^
once done just save and get you save back to your xbox and have fun with your weapon ^_^

That's ok. We understand. The editor is fantastic as it is. Besides making stuff in game adds to the fun. I'm happy to do it that way. I've made tons of stuff already lol! As you said, it's easy.
Re: [BETA RELEASE] Fate's Veil - Kingdom of Amalur Save Editor v.7

If you mean blacksmiths, try towns.

uh... depends in which town you are...
look in the map for the icon of the blacksmith... and go there...
there should be a place which you can interact with... (not an NPC) that's where you can create equipments ^_^
you should really explore the stuff in the game ^_^
if you are still at first town... then if can remember correctly you can find the blacksmith in the first building to your right (from the direction you first entered that town)
