Hey guys with the help of Buddah the Minecraft Editor is now here!
How to use:
Code:
1. Put as many items into your inventory as possible in-game then save and exit
2. Extract your save from your USB
3. Open your save into the Editor
4. Mod what you want and Save
5. Rehash/Resign your save and put your save back on your USB
6. PLAY!
NOTE: DON'T FORGET TO PRESS THE THANKS BUTTON IF YOU USE THIS!!!!
NOTE 2: THIS IS NOT A SAVE REQUEST TOPIC, PLEASE DO NOT POST YOUR SAVE ASKING FOR SOMEONE TO MOD IT!!!!
If you are getting any Errors, please read the Spoiler below for the ways to fix the Error(s) you are getting:
KV.bin Error
This Error is nothing to worry about (it's annoying but doesn't really do anything). If you want to fix it then download this file and put it in the folder that it says it's missing from: http://www.mediafire.com/?mb7hmzicqgmvu4x
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ String Error
This is caused because the Editor sometimes doesn't display some items (Blank Drop-down box), to make it work, just change the Blank Items to any Item and the Editor will save. Attachment 7606
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Net Framework Error
All you have to do is install the newest version of .Net Framework (4.0): http://www.microsoft...s.aspx?id=17851
UPDATE v1.2:
Code:
- Fixed the Errors
- Fixed some spelling mistakes
BIG Thanks to fairchild for fixing the Decryption of the Save
Thanks to Buddah for helping code the Editor

Great job. Well done. I pressed the thanks button even if I don't use a program. People shouldn't need a reason. Thanking for your time and effort alone is a nice gesture.

Nice work Idle and Fair. However...an editor for this game kinda defeats the purpose of it being fun. Ah well at least some people will get use out of it :D

Re: Minecraft XBLA Editor
I am getting any error when I try to save. Both files that were included in the zip are in the same folder. It states:
"Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.
Arithmetic operation resulted in an overflow."
Even when selecting continue to ignore the error, the changes made to the save do not work. I even tried opening it, changing nothing, and trying to save, and I still get the same error.
Any clues?

did you use the decrypter that comes with it to decrypt your save then load it into the tool?

Re: Minecraft XBLA Editor
I've got the decrypter running through cmd. I'm obviously doing something wrong somewhere, as when I run the tool, then attempt to decrypt the savegame, it attempts to open the file and Windows complains that I need to find a program that is compatible with the file type. I haven't used a decrypter since right after the DD toolkit was released, and that was my first. If anyone could give me some pointers or point me toward a FAQ that would be great.

Re: Minecraft XBLA Editor
I'm just going to say this once more. The duplication glitch with the dispenser is much more effective than this tool. With the dupe glitch, you can fill an entire double chest with diamond blocks in just two minutes. With this tool, you have to edit the whole inventory of having all diamond blocks after modding it. Seems like a lot longer to accomplish the same goals. With the dupe glitch, you can even stack items that weren't meant to be stacked, and can hold up to 255 of them as long as you glitch right,

The output is the location and the filename you want to give the output file.

For those who are having trouble follow this tutorial

Maybe but people put their time and effort into making this editor so the least you could do is be grateful or show appreciation to the people who make these amazing save editors for those who dont have two players or whatever is required for this glitch...

The Editor can add items that you can't obtain in-game, lets see you dupe glitch do that... Plus for those that are on a jtag/RGH or can't get 2-players the dupe glitch isn't an option.
Start showing more respect or else I'm adding you to my Ignore list and you'll never be able to download anything from me or view any tutorials I post!!!!
The Editor was made by me and Buddah, we both DID NOT have the game, so we couldn't do proper testing... The Editor turned out better then I expected...

There are only two items you can't obtain, and they aren't of much use. In no way did I say this tool was useless. I merely stated that in regards to time and ease, then the duplication is the way to go. And if someone can't figure out how to log in a guest, well that's their issue.

Some people don't have 2 controllers... How do ou expect them to sign in a guest if they only have 1 controller...
