Thanks Jappi even better than the first.
Hallo Jappi,
thanks for this nice Editor. It works pretty well and it saves some unliked invested time of travelling around for buying items and that stuff and it´s nice to handle! One problem I found is, by adding a slab material i.e. titanite slab x 3 or x99 you see that item in the item list in the game, with the choosen amout.... but... you are not allowed to upgrade any weapon to it´s highest level. The material is counting 0 in the upgrade menu. It may be or seems to be connected with the achivements so there must be a counter which is checking the pick up of this rare stuff. The same with the sorceries, pyros and mircales. You have them, but you can´t unlock the achievement. Even not, when you buy or pick up the last sorcery, pyro or miracle.
Kind regards,
noneAim
Edit: I already used 3.0.0.1
Thanks for the update!
"why not fix it yourself ?"
im new in all this stuff, yesterday i even know thats possible to edit a savegame from xbox, but in future i will try :)
editor still looking good
Has anyone managed to change the durability of weapons/armor and make it stick? Every time I change the values then check the game they are still at their default values.
Oh, that was one point I forgot to say. "Drop Item" isn´t possible.
@jappi ----"why not fix it yourself ?"
I learned IT some years ago in a 12tsd dollar advanced training with lot time of programming and all stuff around computer and network. And I´m a viable "networker" but on the other side I was happy to not stuck in "Hello World". If there is no definition in "the worst programmer you can imagine", now there is one. Call it noneAim.
I´d like to write my own programs, but I miss some logic I would need for and additonally motivation for just compiling all the time to the day I die. So sorry, not everyone is born for this, but I can help you by bug-fixing as a tool-tester.
Kind Regards,
none
bug Reporters are always apriciated :)
Any ideas regarding the weapon durability problem?
Is this tool aready available for download if so where?
Awesome stuff!
I cant get this tool to work i keep getting unhandled exeption any tips or solutions
Love the editor, but whenever I try to use the saves it says that they're corrupted, wat do jappi?
You can send me your saves and I'll mod them for you.
Oh well i'm to stupid to use this :(.
solution for what ?! , did u fallow the instructions ? , i'm going to make it a little asier on the next update , hope less people will encounter isseus.
umm first off awesome tool but for some reason when add anything to my inventory i cant pick up items in the game is there a way to fix this?
A vast improvement, thanks for your hard work!
Fantastic job on this, Jappi. I am so glad that other people are getting use out of that spreadsheet of item info I posted - a lot of effort went into that, and it's very nice to see it put to good use. I appreciate the special thanks too
Also, thanks for posting the source. I'd be happy to lend my hand at fixing bugs and maybe a few other improvements. On that note, it would be helpful if the people running into crashes or errors with their save would explain the exact steps they're doing to get the crash, or if they would upload the save they're using. Just saying it's crashing doesn't help much, and issues with a particular save are very hard to debug without access to that save.
BTW, here's a couple things about items I thought I should share:
1) The items that have an asterisk (*) in their name aren't normally obtainable in-game. You can add them and they appear and work perfectly, but there's no way to get them without a save editor.
2) The boss weapons each have an item in parenthesis after their name - that's the original weapon that was used for ascension. Which one you use when you're adding one doesn't really affect anything in-game since they're all fundamentally the same - when you go to de-ascend a boss weapon at a blacksmith it will turn it into whatever the original weapon was, but literally no other differences. They're all in the list just because they have different item IDs.
:have a nice day:
nice work !! jappi, shame i dont have the game anymore ...
Again I'll ask - Any fixes for the weapon/armor durability editing? No matter what values you alter they are always at default levels when you start the game up.
ummmmm im new to this modding all thing is there lik a tutorial on this or something? plz tht would be nice!!!!!!! ty
i downloaded it but idk what to do next tho i kno to get save off of xbox right? and put in pc and load on this? i really dont kno would lik help xD
dosent work
oh yeah tank you for the new version of editor.
For those of you saying it doesn't work. You obviously don't know how an Empty Slot editor works. Not to offend anyone, but an Empty Slot editor works in the following way.
-It scans your inventory first and checks what items are there
-It then generates the necessary amount of empty slots available to you
-Afterwards, the empty slots will usually be displayed to you in a list from which you can pick from
-You can also use pre-loaded slots (slots with items in them) to overwrite those with an item you want
This is how it works ladies and gentlemen. Don't say it doesn't work, I've tested Jappi88's OLD Dark Soul's editor and also helped him build it with many request I made. I've been with Jappi's old tool since he made it and by far this is the best damn editor out there.
Explain HOW to actually get items on then? The post you made really didn't explain what to do to make it work.
Be nice to get some help regarding the durability issue some point this century. There's clearly people using this editor yet noone posts to help. What's up with that?
Considering
A) You're a Lurker, I shouldn't waste my time with you.
B) Obviously a bit rude.
C) Jappi has kindly posted the issue in his old DS Editor thread which you use the search bar for, you will see my many post regarding the issues of his old editor, not his new one mind you.
D) I clearly explained how to get items on, you're just too low of intelligence to understand or your reading comprehension is not up to snuff. I'm known to my helpful tutorials. This includes Dark Souls and Dragon's Dogma. I am also known on our sister site XboxGameSaves so don't go crying that I didn't help when I clearly put in precise instructions, or do I need to make a video tut again?
How about you show some respect before anyone even helps you on these forums. It's people like you that I don't like, your taking everything for granted and don't give a hoot about who worked their minds to put together these programs.
Show some respect? I've politely asked the same question multiple times over a week and not had one satisfactory answer, so where's my respect? it goes both ways you know.
As for you, you're post didn't help in the slightest with me or the other guy so kindly fuck off.
Hello, I'm new to editing and I am wondering how to use modio in conjunction with the save editor. How do you extract your save file safely into the editor after opening it in modio?
