IGN is hosting the 'world premier' with a 12-minute gameplay video of the sequel in action, it has confirmed via Twitter along with releasing a teaser image (right).
CVG has seen the game, and will publish an in-depth Dark Souls 2 preview later this week.
The sequel was first unveiled via a DS2 trailer at the Spike Video Game Awards. It will be the first in the Souls series not to be helmed by creator from Hidetaka Miyazaki. Instead newcomers Tomohiro Shibuya and Yui Tanimura will take the reins, with Miyazaki supervising.
While the game promises to be "more straightforward and more understandable" than its predecessor, Miyazaki has move to allay fears that the sequel could tone down the series' trademark high difficulty.
"If we're going to announce this as a sequel to Dark Souls then I think there's certainly a core that we need to protect," he said.
"I'm talking about how we think about the difficulty level and how you achieve things in-game; about the concepts behind the mechanics and level design. Outside of that core, though, I think it's better to leave things to the discretion of the director."

Thanks for the share Boss.
I loved the first one, mainly because of the difficulty. It was almost as hard as Ninja Gaiden II and that takes some doing!
