Here in the Netherlands we have the same offer for 2 weeks already at gamemania. So if the Netherlands even gets an offer like that probably the rest of the world will too. Also maybe shops are holding back cause there is not an "official" release date for the PS4.

That is a pretty cool deal. I'm still going to wait a while before getting an xbox one. I want to find out what will actually happen with the game "verification" that they said is no longer in effect. I still have my old n64 games that I pull off the shelf once in a while. If I can't play Xbox One games in 20 years from now then that would be a deal breaker for me.

So. They make you buy the 360 game for 60 bucks or w/e the standard is in USA, and then want you to pay 10 bucks extra to have it converted for X1 usage (essentially making it impossible to use it again on the 360 if it was ever needed)? Sorry, but this is a bad deal no matter how you look at it. This should've been backward compatible by default. Instead it's just another way for Microsoft to leech more money off us.
Good deal? No. Not even close. And this is why Sony laughs at Microsoft at this point.

So....for 10 bucks we can get the Xbox One version of a 360 game we probably already beaten to death...Good one, Microsoft.

Not entirely sure but I think all the PS4 and XBone games are being upped in price anyway...All sites where I usually buy my games from are 7 pounds up in price or 10 euros up in price. Ubisoft website are the prices also higher for PS4 and XBone games so I think that's the reason. Cause after Xbox to X360 and PS2 to 3 all games went up in price too for the next gen. It's something that was bound to happen anyway.
