The key probably is called byte count.

Looking to make some super leveling items :-)
I have a level 1 99% bonus xp helm, however I would like idlehands to check it out before I release it. I refuse to take part in the game breaking lol.

Lemme make this easy on everyone else lol he took the 1 XP helm and replaced the other 2 effect ID's with the first effect ID. I did the same thing and got the same result.
Re: Diablo III - Item Modding
Im trying to figure out why everyone is so concerned about game breaking the azurewrath that was release is more gamebreaking then anything or a gamesave that maxes out the skill by a million sounds like to me the game has already been broken. now all we are doing is trying to make out own weapons and gear for the fun of it cause really i can run around on inferno master 5 with no gear on and still pwn on the bosses

I didn't know there was a xp helm out. As far as I know I'm the only one with this paticular helm.
Not sure how well it is working though as my xbox keeps freezing when I try to save.
Any ideas on that? Too many modded weapons/armor?

Explain further if you figured it out, please?
Re: Diablo III - Item Modding
I don't understand why people are hiding things, if you figured out something cool or useful why not just say it? lol.
Modding tools will be out soon anyways, I don't understand the point in hiding things from people.. isn't the point of this topic to basically use the information people have gathered to kinda figure other things out? We'd get further working with rather than against.
Not really contributing anything at all if you come here to post something then not explain how because you think you're cool. Idle has created more than anyone in here, so no point trying to be "the guy that created the amazing item".

True, though I made a ring/gem hybrid yesterday that froze and corrupted my save. It only corrupted my save once I picked it up and froze. You can load the game and look at it etc but once you pick it up for some reason the game freezes. That alone could cause asshats to grief others. I have been just making the gear I already have better which is pretty fun.
As for the helm with 99% EXP? um you mean a helm with 3 sockets? I made one with 3 sockets and 600EXP per kill. I wouldn't call it game breaking. It's definitely helpful to level other characters.
