Thank you Jappi for the release, I know I will enjoy using this for a long time coming..

Re: Diablo 3 Save Editor V2.0.0.0
I may be overlooking it, but is there a way to change the required level on equipment ?

No, That is determined by the Armor/Weapon you use and the Effects you put on it. The only way to lower the Level req (while using the high level Effects) is to add the Reduced Level Req Effect a couple of time to the item.
-
Re: Diablo 3 Save Editor V2.0.0.0
Hmm so it seams you can add new item effects to the database does that mean it will send you the item effect and eventually add it to all the modding tools, also does this have the DLC items in its database ?

Re: Diablo 3 Save Editor V2.0.0.0
Thank you For update editor is so great editor.
-
Re: Diablo 3 Save Editor V2.0.0.0
Okay, so we can add new effects to items in the Database, but how do you transfer the item block (0a 08 08 01) for the item into a character/stash save? i cant even see the hex for the edited item to use the existing replace block feature. help?
::EDIT::
HAHAHA oh god, im retarded! big giant EDIT INVENTORY button :) I was going right back to the "Raw Date" tab. oh god that was hilarious, you shouldve seen my fave when i saw the button. sorry for the dumb question, please disregard :)

Re: Diablo 3 Save Editor V2.0.0.0
I just found out by trial and error with the Editor, to make the changes save to the item from your inventory, you must click "Move to stash."

Just open your dead character in Hex Workshop and change the 8th byte after your characters name to:
81 = Male Hardcore
83 = Female Hardcore

Sorry it's the 9th byte, your's is set to 89, so if your character is a Male, change it to 81, or 83 if your character is Female.

Yea mine works just fine. Just don't mod to many items at once or your xbox will freeze up.

Re: Diablo 3 Save Editor V2.0.0.0
I don't know if I should praise you or curse you into oblivion for this amazing tool you have made that will make many of us spend countless hours pouring over. There were a few things that I came across and didnt see where else to post them.
1. When you have multiple item effects stacked onto an item (say 3 entries for vit and 3 for level reduce req.). If you delete 1 entry (say vit) it will delete them all on that item and still display 6/32 (in this case) at the top and still display 2 vit. It does update properly when you close the item editor portion and reload it as 3 entries for reduce level req. and no vit (3/32).
2. When editing an item in a characters inventory, if you delete one item you cannot add a new item to the inventory and have it stay. You must save, exit and reload the editor in order to get newly added items to stay.
3. When adding a hex value id name to the DB you cannot edit / rename / remove from the DB through the editor (that I can see).
Everything aside I spent 4 hours more than then the 2 I had originally wanted playing with this wonderful tool. And for that I have decided to thank you and bow to your programming prowess. :065:

Re: Diablo 3 Save Editor V2.0.0.0
Ok two things.
1. When you go to edit the stash, it will only bring up the Normal Stash, not Hardcore, even when a Hardcore character is chosen.
2. Does anyone have the unique ID for percentage based EXP gain?
-
Re: Diablo 3 Save Editor V2.0.0.0

As far as I have seen they are tied to the unique / legendary item they were intended for. But you can make a ring with all the stuff you want, change it to Legendary type and use the item id code for Leorics or Hellfire.
CF 39 46 E2 - Hellfire Ring (Ring)
17 C1 77 DD - Leoric’s Signet (Ring)
Also here is a list that I dont recall who made that I have bookmarked.
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1...Tt0/edit?pli=1
Also.

Lastly I just saw this posted to change / revive your characters easily. Kudos for Idle.

Yea I just trial and errored with a Hellfire ring, crafted it myself using the mats and then put the values that popped into random items to test.
Looks like they are tied to that specific item. But I did find the increase gold fine percentage. Gonna help getting up to 5 mil for that cheev

Re: Diablo 3 Save Editor V2.0.0.0
so everytime i try with the Editor it tells me invalid internet connection. Is there a feature in the windows program i need to disable for the editor to connect with internet?
-
Re: Diablo 3 Save Editor V2.0.0.0
No, works fine with my connection, but depending on your firewall virus checker settings you may be running into trouble. Have you tried stopping those and see if the editor will work? Also could the site be blocked in your country? I'm in US.

If you can hex edit the answer is yes. Idlehands88 posted some pretty good instructions on how to recover him /her. I don't recall which diablo 3 thread it was in but I'm sure a few minutes going through them would find it for you.
-
Re: Diablo 3 Save Editor V2.0.0.0
thank you sir for this awesome editor
-
Re: Diablo 3 Save Editor V2.0.0.0
im in the US i've tried turning off my virus protector. not firewall though i'll see with that.
-after turning antivirus off and firewall still get a "invalid internet connection error"

ok now I'm asking for some slight assistance. I want to add recipes not in the editor. I'm not seeing a way to add items to the database to add. How can I update that?

u can only add unknow items to the database, using the stash or inventory editor. there is no other way for now.
The database will also update itself when it finds items in your inventory that are located inside the resources

Haven't tried to do this but it looks like you can add a recipe to your inventory of whatever you choose then change the item id hex to whatever one you want.
EX:
I added The Magi legendary crafting plan from the editor (AB435710).
Changed item ID to 3F695280 for Pendergrasps, which were not an option to choose from list. Loads in editor just fine and changes the name. Cant test on xbox till later if you need. Some items will not pull over their correct name, so you may have to manually add it to the DB. There is a button at the center bottom that says "Add to DB". Hope this points you in the right direction.

Re: Diablo 3 Save Editor V2.0.0.0
thx a lot for this editor. keep up the great work

I'm didn't think to change up the Hex in the item block when you choose it. This is why I like you corrison. Gonna try that and switch it up for a recipe. What is the unique set for a Wizard anyone?
I was not a Diablo fan until about a two weeks ago, since then have played it like it's my second job. But I have only gotten one green set to drop and that's Cain, so yea, asking :)
-
Re: Diablo 3 Save Editor V2.0.0.0
Works great. Quick Q: The items and effects I add to the DB... is that uploaded somewhere? I'm really hoping we're each contributing to the database, rather than reinventing the wheel.

I do not take credit for this list but it was found on another form in here.
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1...Tt0/edit?pli=1
It has many if not all item id's and item effects. Most effects are already in the editor but there are a few nice ones like the 17% HP.. Glad I could help.

Re: Diablo 3 Save Editor V2.0.0.0
Ok two quick things, one I have seen people say they had freezing problems when they load their games. I too have had that problem I am not sure if it is because I tried adding max items for all my crafting mats or if it was because I tried adding items to my stash. Either way I fixed this by making my items quantity 900 and I did not add anything to my stash.
Two, I can confirm that changing the IDs does indeed work at least for the same item type haven't tried anything else. I changed one of my Keys into the key I was missing and it worked just fine, changed the name and everything.

Re: Diablo 3 Save Editor V2.0.0.0
Wow, that was quick for an update. Thanks for all the hard work.
