Re: [Xbox360/PS3] Diablo 3 Save Editor V2.0.0.9
've seen countless topics here about modded items, but I don't see anywhere how it actually works.
For the record, I don't even play online except with 2 close friends, and I absolutely hate modded stuff. Takes everything that's fun out of the game. One of these friends was gifted an Azurewrath with 15k damage and was using it at first until people started to kick him out hahaha.
Now, I understand that on PC, you can maybe play with the files on your computer or something like that.
But on console, how does it work? Is there a way to, for example, save a PS3 D3 file on your computer, explore the file somehow and change numbers on specific items, and import it back?
I have absolutely no idea how that works on console (to be fair I don't understand it either on PC, but it makes more sense).
I'm also quite surprised that Blizzard found no way to prevent that. How hard is it to make a simple check on all equipped items for basic stuff like "strength > 500" and simply delete the item? Ok maybe it's harder than it looks, but I'm sure it's doable.

I was going to reply with an answer, but after seeing your spam you added to your post, I have decided not to lol.
