Have you had any luck replacing abilities with proper stats? When I tried with abilities the stats were completely messed up, I had a spell with a duration in the negative lol.

Do you know how to mod the gil in the game using this same method? I mean weapon and garbs in hard mode are so expensive that you really cant buy the ones you really want.
just load your save up in this http://www.360haven.com/forums/threa...l=1#post244792 and mod your gil i used it for stat modding and this for items
In case you're interested, this Japanese forum seems to have made some progress working out how the abilities work, at least as far as I can tell from auto translate and my very limited knowledge of Japanese ^^. Maybe someone here who actually speaks Japanese can shed some further light on things?
1st: Take a Look at your Game, how much GIL you have, WRITE it on a Sheet.
2nd: Copy your Save to USB, open it on PC with HORIZON by DoubleCklick you Savefile, than go to CONTENT, rightclick & extract.
3rd: Open the http://www.multiupload.nl/ZJU59QX3QA & save the Decrypted File where ever you want.
4th: Open the decryptet File in HxD Editor & choose "Surch"..choose "Integer Number" (& under the "any bitwith" is any to choose, so choose the 2nd in it).
5th: now type in the written GIL (when u have 900Gil, you come at 4Hex-Scince). (to mod your Gil well, only mod 8hex-scince)
6th: Begin to "mark" the 2hex before the one you found, only 8 Hex enpugh & rightclick on that what you mark & select "select block" & choose "DEC" & type in the "Lenght" 99999999, after type in, choose "Hex" copy that hex wich are choosed from 99999999 and press STRG+V. Than press Chancel on the Window, so it closed.
7th: Now go to the 1st 2 Hex, wich you have choosed to start before and press "STRG+B".
8th: Press Strg+S (this will save your file) & close the HxD Editor & open the "decrypter" open your decrypted File & encrypt.
9th: Put your modded File to your USB & to your Xbox or Ps3 and have fun.
PS.: I did the strongest Enemy in Game by One Hit Kill (I m still lovin it). (Only press at the Beginning of the Fight 2x the Button for Time Dilitation - so she does Clouds Omni)

Okay, with some tinkering and (most importantly) finally managing to make some semblance of sense out of the post in the Japanese forum I mentionend above, I worked out how the location pointers for the abilities work. All credit goes to the Japanese guy who figured it out first!
The location pointers for abilities begin at offset 1FD90, the abilities themselves start at offset 36444.
The location info is made up of 400 blocks of 12h bytes each; the first set of 12h bytes is the first item in your ability inventory, the second is the second and so forth. Each 12h byte block typically looks like this:
Your abilites are stored in 32h byte long blocks at a different offset (36444). Now, each of the location pointers points to one specific ability, and it works like this:Code:30 B0 B0 30 B0 B0 31 5F 30 30 30 30 30 61 00 00 00 01
The location pointers consist of two very important parts, namely the first seven bytes and the fourteenth byte. The latter, in plaintext, is the tens digit, the former is turned into the units digit by using the following table for reference.
The example I've given above (30 B0 B0 30 B0 B0 31 5F 30 30 30 30 30 61 00 00 00 01) works out the following way:Code:0 - 30 B0 B0 30 30 30 31
1 - 30 B0 B0 30 30 30 B1
2 - 30 B0 B0 30 30 B0 31
3 - 30 B0 B0 30 30 B0 B1
4 - 30 B0 B0 30 B0 30 31
5 - 30 B0 B0 30 B0 30 B1
6 - 30 B0 B0 30 B0 B0 31
7 - 30 B0 B0 30 B0 B0 B1
8 - 30 B0 B0 B0 30 30 31
9 - 30 B0 B0 B0 30 30 B1
a - B0 B0 30 30 30 30 B1
b - B0 B0 30 30 30 B0 31
c - B0 B0 30 30 30 B0 B1
d - B0 B0 30 30 B0 30 31
e - B0 B0 30 30 B0 30 B1
f - B0 B0 30 30 B0 B0 31
The first seven bytes are 30 B0 B0 30 B0 B0 31; if we consult the chart above, we find that that corresponds to "6". We now have the units digit of our number.
The fourteenth byte is 61, which is "a" in ASCII plaintext. Thus, our tens digit is "A".
Consequently, the complete number is A6 (or 166 in decimal). If we multiply that number by 32h (remember, that's the length of a single ability), we finally find out how far from the starting offset of 36444 our ability is located.
I haven't tried adding a new ability yet, but it should theoretically be possible with this information. Just add the ability, work out the distance to the starting offset, divide that by 32h, do the math to convert that number into a location pointer and insert it at the end of the list.
Sorry for the confusing explanation, I hope you were able to get the gist of it. I'm not a native speaker (I'm German), so please bear with me :).
@Ryudo: Do you know the Way how DLC-Garbs like 1st Class Soldier are availabe to me? (I think there must be 2 Offsets wich have to be (one/first))added and (second(written))changed, because the Download-Code-Package from this Garb have to be in, at the Save we mod..THX
Yeah the outfits don't seem to work, maybe there is something to actually download instead of just a flag when you get the dlc. I was actually considering buying some of the dlc until I saw the price, $4 for one outfit...wtf. Has anyone found an ability list for the garb skills? As much as I like artemis arrow, I don't like the outfit it's on.
Can anyone tell me how to mod the Gil of a ps3 save file ? I tried the steps from bangorrhea but I couldn't find the Gil value (I had 15460 Gil when I tried it)
For XBox Users: When anyone download a foreign Savegame: You have the savegames first fashion with Modio/Horizon/USBXtafGui. They're always logged on a specific profile! After that, the savegames are on the HDD. The savegame should be a folder whose name is identical to the Game ID. This is another folder and a file in it, the savegame. The folder with the game ID you have to pack on the HDD then in the Content/00000000000000 folder.
PS3 Users: Download: PS3SFOEdit, PS3SaveUnlocker, FTP Manager / Comgenie's FileManager.
(Sometimes it works well, just when the "game" and "param.pfd" file to be replaced.)
Otherwise try this:
1.) So first of all we need our original game. For this we go to the directory / dev_hdd0/home/00000001/savedata
2) Copy the saved game on your flash drive / external hard drive with [O] in the advanced mode [SELECT]
3) After the score on your stick is you close it to your computer. The score will probably not be seen. If, however, makes step 5) on.
4) Go to C: or as your partion is, and click on Organize and then click Folder and Search Options. Now you do with protected operating system files to hide the rakes away and selects hidden files ... show off.
5) Now you should see your savegame later nothing to swap you can give a different name to the folder. Then you start the program now PS3SFOEdit and click on Load to load the PARAM.SFO of stolen savegame. Then, click Advanced Edit to now reset the parameters of ATTRIBUTE from 0 to 1.
6) Now click OK and then click Save or else things will not be saved. Then overwrite. You should now be in both savegame folder a modified PARAM.SFO.
7) Now you start the program PS3SaveUnlock and selects as written there "your PARAM.SFO" and "other PARAM.SFO". If this is done should a new PARAM.SFO appear on the desktop or in the folder where the program resides.
8) Now replace the new introduced PARAM.SFO in the folder of the stolen savegames and the old. Subsequently, the folder also not if you work back to the USB drive or FTP.
9) Save Data to browse now as in 2) again folder and browse to the USB stick left. Then copy it back in the [SELECT] Advanced Mode using [O] folder from the USB stick to the PS3. The on the PS3 should be replaced / overwritten.
10) Start Game, Trophies on popping look and look

Sorry to CloudStrife7x..if your Day was disturbed..´va a nice Day.
you really should make your own thread for these save files, other users will not know about them unless they happen upon this thread, also are these saves signed to a profile, if so then you should also put they need to resign the saves to their profile using bruteforce save data or the game genie
Hello,
have anyone up in here the DLC Packages for Cloud and so on - could you PLS upload this ones for me (the Way to do this is the same like "Copy/Transfer Safedata")? (private Message pls)
thx forward
I know the Way how it even works..I just need the "Download" Package..wich would be downloaded in the Game Folder where´s the Savedata..I have two DLC packages already .. I have fitted successfully with my ID and then installed .. I need other DLC´s to complete .. like 1st Class Soldier .. and a few others .. Tomb Rider and the "package 1" with Mog, Cosmocrator and Exalibur I have already ..
in total there are 19 DLC costumes ..
I don't know how much of this is possible what you're describing, and if it is possible then there's also the risk of getting console-banned by Microsoft once you go online with DLC-content that you 'copied' onto your profile. Not sure if this is something you want to recommend to people. I guess it's their own choice, but I for one won't be part of it. Not worth losing my account for.
I don't know Sony's stance on stuff like this, or if it's possible for PS3 at all.
[Edit]
Just asked Echelo about this as well. You'd need a JTAG Console for this.
So for a lot of people this won't be working.
Anyone figured out how to edit/add abilities correctly? For example:
Be able to add "Ability lv 5", "Ability lv 3" etc.
Be able to edit the modifiers
Be able to edit the ATB cost
Be able to edit the passive ability
Is it possible to do that? If so, can someone kindly post some steps with an example?
Ah right. Well I guess I can add that portion later (probably this weekend, because I'll be busy today and tomorrow).
Thank you. Also I forgot to add "Passive ability" to that list above. If you could include how to add that as well please?
I tried to mess around with the hex editor yesterday. Since I was using a PS3 save, I did not need to use Horizon. Opened the app.dat file straight into Jappi and decrypted, and then opened it in HxD editor. I could see the abilities like mc910_00 (Elementa), but I did not know what the numbers after meant. Like where is the cost, where is the modifier etc. Also, what would Elementa level 2 or level 3 look like? mc910_00_01 and mc910_00_02?
I tried to change a few things, then encrypted it again with Jappi. The save corrupted however -.-
Anyway, I'm sure you'll explain it all this weekend. Looking forward to your post.
EDIT - I've figured out how to edit abilities. What I'm not sure on is how to ADD new abilities to the list. Will just typing in the empty area after your last ability work? Or are there more areas to worry about?
There's more to worry about, just typing at the end of it won't work unless you already had 400 Abilities as far as I know.
I'm not exactly sure HOW it works. It's messy to say the least. And it's probably easier to just edit existing ones.
Anyways, here'swhat I found so far:
Active Abilities: (Missing a few here, most likely some Buffs and Debuffs)
Passive (Auto) Abilities:
There's obviously a lot more Passive Abilities, but I haven't had the time lately to test the values.
So how does one edit a skill? First of all, go to Offset 3632C
Let's take Beat Down (LVL 1) for an example.
61 74 31 33 30 5F 30 30 5F 30 30 00 00 00 61 74 31 33 30 5F 30 30 00 00 00 00 00 00 [00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00] 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 01 00 00 FF FF FF DD
The part in [ ] is where your Passive Ability will be placed.
So if you want Beat Down LVL 1 with... Status Ailment Damage +25%, you'd put:
61 74 31 33 30 5F 30 30 5F 30 30 00 00 00 61 74 31 33 30 5F 30 30 00 00 00 00 00 00 [73 70 61 5F 34 30 30 31] 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 01 00 00 FF FF FF DD
Okay cool. Guess I'll just stick with editing the ones I have. I now have all the abilities worked out and only need to figure out some auto-passives. Esp, "Critical: Faith + Haste 60 secs" and of those sort. They should be in the range spa_61xx.
Is there a better way to check for them other than just edit save, test in game, repeat?
Is it possible to add special abilities like artemis arrow, slayer, etc? i like the artemis arrow ability, but can't stand the armor it's on.
Okay I have one question, anyone know how to edit Bestiary Monster so that all list of monster including 'The Last One' completed?
Has anyone found a list of the armor only abilities?
Anyone know what the offsets are to edit enemy counts?

Those codes are for Brute Force save data, right? They don't work in hex. Have you tested them?
