Nintendo website may be victim of phishing scam
Attachment 1267
Nintendo Europe has warned of a potential phishing scam taking place of the company’s website. Until further notice the majority of the site will be closed until Nintendo determine the severity of the situation. This is the second potential incident on Nintendo’s website with hacker group LulzSec previously gaining access to the servers config file.
We have learnt of a possible phishing threat to users of the European Nintendo website which we are currently investigating. The protection of our customers is our utmost priority and so we have taken the precaution of immediately shutting down some parts of this website until further notice. We would like to reassure you that we do not hold our customer’s bank, credit card or address details on the European Nintendo website and so this data is not at risk.
Phishing is when someone attempts to find out your personal information, such as usernames and passwords, by pretending to be a trustworthy person or company in an electronic communication such as an email or via a website.
We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused. Please do get in touch with your local Nintendo Customer Services if you have any further concerns.

Jeez, seriously who is next? Theres a conspiracy going on here at the moment, Sony, Codemasters, Epic and Nintendo.
Nope if Microsoft don't get Hacked it's going to look funnily suspicious:P
Re: Nintendo website may be victim of phishing scam
Defo seems to be a trend developing here, I reckon it will only be a matter of time before MS gets hit as well. I'm sure I remember reading that one of the hacking groups said that they were going to hit every major gaming company at some point over the year.
