I think the reason I got banned was that my soul memory was lower than the number of souls I had at the time, and lower than the amount needed to reach my level. I also had some non-legit item stacks of 4000+ and 32000+ Destructive Greatarrows.
It may well be the items if they're trying to crack down on Mega Mule users on the PS3.

I would suggest to wait for my tool...it will allow editing and keep the risk to be banned minimal

So, any timeframe for when you'll release it?

yeah I'm guessing it has something to do with inventory mods, somehow. My soul memory is FAR less than the amount of souls I have on-hand and I haven't had a problem yet.
Or maybe it has something to do with detecting the save file itself?
If you notice: When you first make a save file for this game, it's just a bit over 14 megabytes. 14.06 or something like that. But most (all? haven't looked at all of them) of the saves uploaded here are only about 9 megabytes. Files seem to shrink when run through the checksum editor after modifying the hexes yourself too. I have no idea what a fresh PS3 save looks next like compared to the Mega Mule so I can't say one way or another over there.
I could just be talking out of my ass, I dunno. But the only modding I've done has been with amany's soul editor and it has kept my save "intact" and I haven't had a problem yet.

That was a pretty reasonable thought, but no. My resigner maintains the correct size, yet I got caught.
They may prioritize people that do a lot of PvP. I spend most of my time in the Brotherhood of Blood arena.
I also wouldn't be too surprised if Microsoft forwarded reports to them and I got caught that way. I have managed to get several people mad enough that I would be amazed if they didn't report me for something.

I actually got my account banned but I sent an email to From saying that that was fucked up and they lifted the ban. Hahaha! I'm not even joking.

But the question is, have you actually been able to do any kind of multiplayer since then? Have you even seen any non-NPC summon signs?
Also, did you really mean From, or Bandaid Namco?
