Dark Souls II Parameter Editor
Hey guys, I made an Editor that will mod the Parameter Settings in the Dark Souls II Gamesave. The Item Drop Rate mod, mods all the Rings in the game with it, you MUST have at least one ring on to get the effects of it. It takes 15-20 seconds to load your save file into the Editor, please allow the Editor to load.
Do not post this on any other website without my permission!!!
HOW TO USE:
Code:
1. Load up your game and Press Start
2. Select your USB and let the game YOU MUST CANCEL THE Calibrations
3. Unplug your USB after it's done and try to load one of your characters
4. The game will tell you the device was removed and it'll bring you back to the Press Start screen
5. Plug your USB into your computer and extract the USER_DATA15 file from your save into the Offzip and Packzip folder that's included
6. Press the Decompress.bat file and it will decompress the save and put the file into the New Folder
7. Copy the .dat file from the New Folder and put it into the Offzip and Packzip folder

Re: Dark Souls II Parameter Editor
omg this sh!t is amazing Idle!!! THANKS m8!
question- when you say it checks calabirations it will revert back to default, we are to keep the modded save and replace it back, see i'm confused on that.. how does it work?
and no worries on abusing on pvp, i personally never play with invasions on these games, it ruins the experience imo.

Everytime it checks the Calibration, it also downloads the default USER_DATA15 file from their servers. So you need to let it do the Calibration before adding the USER_DATA15 file. The game only checks the Calibration the first time you start the game up from the Dashboard or every 2 or so hours of being online (but only if you exit after that amount of time).
I haven't figured out a bypass for that yet, other then replacing the file after the game Calibrates.

Because people would abuse it for PVP.

hmm.. what if you're playing offline? i don't have a gold account so would that perhaps make it not check every two hours or so?

As long as you are Offline and not even connected to LIVE. Otherwise you will get the Calibration screen and it will overwrite the mods.

Re: Dark Souls II Parameter Editor
Please do want more donwload NOT AVAILABLE for me can someone help me please
-
When I get to part 12, when I click replace on Horizon, I get the message - STFS: Invalid number of free blocks detected while allocating blocks. Help?
Sorry, forgot to add this before (won't let me edit my initial post). Here is my full save I wish to edit -
http://rg.to/file/5718a628bd1e802aa2...GAME_0000.html
I want everything modded to max, apart from walking speed and jumping height. I NEVER go on-line so could you possibly do the Moderator Specials as well (ie Max damage to enemy and no damage to me?).

It's your guy's saves. Try using Le Fluffie to replace the file. If not there is nothing I can do about it.

I am not modding people's saves for them, and the Restrictions are there for a reason. Why would I put them on, just to mod them for people anyways? Makes no sense.

Re: Dark Souls II Parameter Editor
okay, i got it to work.. at least i think i did. the parameters have changed just like the image you uploaded. but i dont see any difference when im playing, my stamina goes down just as fast as before and i slaughtered alot of enemies but the drop rate isnt working as well, plus my durability isnt infinity.
what could be the problem here?

Make sure you replace the modded file AFTER the game checks the Calibration, if you see the Calibration screen, you MUST replace the file with the modded one. That or just replace the file again and try again.

Alright, just tested and YES you do need the latest USER_DATA15 file that the Calibration downloads. I now have Infinite Durability, Stamina and Item Drop Rate on your save. I have added a default USER_DATA15 file that was taken from the latest Calibration. Please download that and try modding it.

Re: Dark Souls II Parameter Editor
Hello Idlehands88,
I am using your first "Dark Souls II Modded Start" save from your post in the Xbox 360 Modified Game Saves forum and it is working exceptionally well for me ( http://www.360haven.com/forums/threa...I-Modded-Start ). I am not using the new save you posted in that thread, I am using the first save that others complained not working for them. But it has been working great for me maybe because I do not have any game updates and have never gone online.
I have never gone online in the game after purchasing it (though I am connected to Xbox Live) and haven't even downloaded the first game update yet.
As I understand it from your original post in this thread, I would need to download the USER_DATA15 file attached to this post to make this editor work for me because I have never gone online? Do you think it would reset all my progress so far if I replace the USER_DATA15 file from my current save that I downloaded from your original post in the Modded Start thread with the USER_DATA15 file posted here?
Also, do my calibrations get downloaded automatically even when I am not connected to the game online just because I am connected to Xbox Live?
Thanks.
