Six player 60fps splitscreen racing comes to Xbox One - meet Riptide GP 2
Let's have a "bring your controller" party
Among last night's crop of new [email protected] titles is Riptide GP 2, created by Vector Unit, developer of the ancient Hydro Thunder Hurricane for Xbox 360. It's a good-looking sci-fi racer with realistic water physics and lots of lovely, futuristic track furniture, that puts me immediately in mind of Wipeout.
Oh, and it's the first game to take full advantage of the Xbox One's six head local multiplayer support, at 60 frames a second. Thanks for the heads-up, Dan Hsu.Attachment 14284Alas, I haven't been able to dig up a video of the splitscreen in action, but the PC gameplay video below looks enticing. The first [email protected] games are due on Xbox One this month, and there are plenty more where they came from.http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=yfM9vJwMxcM
