I need opinions on all of it. My main question is what graphics card to run. I want to run everything on ultra so let me know everyone. Also if you like my set up leave me a like ;3
This is my new lower power Intel build. I like everything I got here. Just put it up for everyone to see. I might end up changing my RAM memory but that's it.
Re: Im building a Gaming Rig and I need opinions and suggestions
Personally I'd go with an Intel processor (Haswell CPUs are beast). And tbh even an i5 3570 is better than that AMD.
If you plan to do HEAVY multitasking, then you COULD go with the AMD, but for gaming I'd go with Intel for sure.
Re: Im building a Gaming Rig and I need opinions and suggestions
Thanks Ryudo! I will forsure check that out. That AMD though has such a good price...
Re: Im building a Gaming Rig and I need opinions and suggestions
True if you don't have a high budget available then AMD is the better choice.
But the i5 haswell CPUs are very reasonable with pricing ranges as well.
i5-4670K is at 240 dollars on newegg right now. That's only 40 bucks more expensive than the AMD you posted. Just make sure you get a compatible MOBO as well (Z87). You can get a 'cheapish' MSI one if you want, and it'll still be more than enough.
Re: Im building a Gaming Rig and I need opinions and suggestions
My budget is pretty good but not extreme. Im working on an Intel build too and I want to compare it with this one. Do you prefer G skill or Corsair for the memory?
Re: Im building a Gaming Rig and I need opinions and suggestions
G Skill. Better for budget too. And it's actually better than some Corsairs.
Re: Im building a Gaming Rig and I need opinions and suggestions
Thats what I thought I looked up comparisons and they are almost the same with just price differences. What GPU do you Recommend? If I save up I was thinking Radeon HD 7970 GHz Ed but im not sure if I want them or NVIDIA because of the big driver difference.
