Re: [PS3/XB360]Dark Souls II Save Editor V1.0.1.0
Jappi or too anyone who knows how to answer this correctly. What are the items under the DataBase tab that are in the trash can? Can you use these items or do they mess up your save?

Those are items that are not used ingame or may not be added/edited or items you want to exclude from editing.
you can drag them out if you want to be able to add/see/edited those or drag items into it to disable it from editing.

[PS3/XB360]Dark Souls II Save Editor V1.0.1.0
Hey Jappi every time I load up my save or even extract it my save instantly gets corrupted. Even the back ups I make are corrupted. I have to make a new save a reinsert everything using the tool tab. This happens even when I use party buffalo and the USB reader in your editor. You have any ideas on what is going on? Could it be my thumb drive? Idk
P.s. Only saves I have are all corrupted even my back ups I made. I would have to totally remake the save if you want a working one. But I have plenty corrupted ones hahaha
Thanks for all your hard work. I appreciate it :)

I have stopped using horizon because with both dark souls 1 and 2 it shrinks the size if the save and gives me errors down the line when I try to mod it again. I can give you a copy of my save that I newly created because my back ups failed. But what I have started doing is extract it with your USB loader and load the sAve from my PC and then mod. After that I load the USB and click replace the save from my laptop and then has worked twice or few more times.

I think you might have the same issue as mine
I've already sent a save to jappi88
Question: Is it possible that some item we equipped are stuck?
There was an issue with previous versions where items would not stick permanently to the assigned slot
It should have been fixed with 1.08 (first item in the change log) maybe some character are still left with some of them

I only had problems whenever the newest calibrations came out. The only fix I have came up with is just create a brand new eve and inject your progress, build, stats, and inventory into the new save. I use the USB loader in the editor to extract the save and load the save from my PC. Edit it and the use the USB loader to replace the save and it normally loads up

Re: [PS3/XB360]Dark Souls II Save Editor V1.0.1.0
I'm getting the same fail to save error message. I can play the game perfectly if I delete the updates to the game, but with the latest version I get that error. After loading a character, it'll proceed into the game as usual, but when the game tries to auto save it fails and returns to the main menu. I've tried the suggestions to get around it to no avail.
:009:
Also, as a sidenote, the Desert Sorceress Top is in the wrong section in the database. It's in the arm equipment category instead of the chest. I know we can edit the database ourselves, but I thought I'd let you know.

I have 4 characters how do you suggest to proceed to create a new save and copy each one of them?
Di I need to create 4 dummies to be replaced afterwards?
Jappi have you tried my save?

Okay start a brand new save with four new characters. You don't have to play any. Just Create it and save. Until you have 4 characters. Then you load your save that's not corrupted etc and for Each character extract their progress, build, stats, and inventory. This is under the Tool tab. After you have all your characters stuff. Load up your new save and for each character replace their stats, build, progress, and inventory. To that one that you want it to have. Do that for each one character. Make sure you use the USB loader in the save editor. And do this exactly as I tell you.
Extract the save from the USB in the editor to your desktop and load the save into your editor from the desktop not from the USB. Insert all the files into each character that you want the files to go into. And rename the character to its original name and set it's play through number. After your finish with each character. Save it. Or save it each time. Close the save entirely and re load it. Check to make sure your inventory is there for each character. If it isn't just reinsert it back and save it. Repeat process until the save is correct.

Hi Jappi,
For PS3 version...
while removing magic from the equipment interface, the same error box, "System.NullReferenceException" is still appeared...

Re: [PS3/XB360]Dark Souls II Save Editor V1.0.1.0
It's been working great for me, but now when I try to load the save on my 360 it tells me it's corrupted. I noticed that when I try to Rehash and Resign the file in Horizon, it says "FATX: File byte offset to physical byte offset failed during non-cached synchronous I/O (0xC0000102)"
What's happened?
I've tried some backups too, and it all gets the same thing. Different flash drives have been tested as well.

If you read there is a solution that has be working for me. Doesn't have to be four. Create how many characters you need to replace. Like if you scroll up and read the one person need four replaced, which this little wall through is based off of.

Re: [PS3/XB360]Dark Souls II Save Editor V1.0.1.0
I primarily use save editors so I can get a character to the meta pvp level (SL 125 for DkS1, SL 150 for DkS2) and I decided to check this one out, because it got good reviews. Along my way, I've encountered two significant things.
1st Issue I've found:
The Playthrough # doesn't work as intended. While it does put me in PvE NG+, I was only able to co-op and pvp with people in NG (I lowered my SL and SM so that I could see summons in the forest of fallen giants, and I got invaded by a low-level player.)
2nd Issue:
Slightly relating to the first issue. So I went through and killed Nashandra(The Giant's Kinship you get doesn't actually work until you kill the Giant Lord, btw) and went to a proper NG+ with a different character. Now, I can't see any summon signs at all, and I'm unable to invade. I've yet to be invaded, as well. I'm not sure if it has to do with me or the editor, but I'm just reorting it to be seen.
Please reply soon, as I am currently suffering without PvP

I was thinking about doing something like that, but wouldn't I lose my progress? Not my stats, but my progress through the game?

You extract your progress, build, stats, and inventory using the tool tab within the save editor and load the new save in and go to tool tab and replace each one with the ones you just extracted.

All right, it seems to work, but every time I equip/unequip something it says "Failed to save game" and kicks me to the main menu. Was I supposed to go to the house and create the character first, or just save/quit as soon as I have control?

I just save and quit as soon as I got there. If you are still having problems let me know and I will have you upload your save and I will try and help you recover it. But the save will have to be able to be loaded on the editor so I can extract your stuff. But PM me so we don't have a conversation anymore on the thread.

Re: [PS3/XB360]Dark Souls II Save Editor V1.0.1.0
So, here's my problem: I've loaded my save off my USB, edited it (nothing crazy at all), and saved it. When I try to load the character, it gets to the prompt that says "Saving content. Please don't turn off your console.", and the game crashes. I've tried extracting the files via Party Buffalo and injecting the new file onto the USB and that doesn't work either. What's going on?

Re: [PS3/XB360]Dark Souls II Save Editor V1.0.1.0
Ah. I see. Thank you. I'll be sure to keep my eye on this for when PC is supported.

Hey try using the built in USB loader within the editor. Horizon has been known to cause issues with the save causing the modded dark souls 2 save to become
Corrupt and no longer able to save. Last time I use horizon for a dark souls save it change the size if the file from 14.06 mb to 8.96 mb which cause a problem when you try to replace it in horizon as well and brought the problems I mentioned above. If you need help I will try and help you.
