Is it at the title screen, right after the calibrations download? And what have you modded in an the amount you added and was it to your inventory or item box?

Let me try just adding in one thing and see if that works.
It's at anytime it tries to save the file; both before and after calibrations. And the amount I added was 99 in three different items in my inventory.

Try adding it into your item box instead and may I ask which items.

Okay, I have confirmed that it is when I do any kind of modding that it freezes when it saves.

Then you load your save that's not corrupted etc and for Each character extract their progress, build, stats, and inventory. This is under the Tool tab. After you have all your characters stuff. Load up your new save and for each character replace their stats, build, progress, and inventory. To that one that you want it to have. Do that for each one character. Make sure you use the USB loader in the save editor. And do this exactly as I tell you.
Extract the save from the USB in the editor to your desktop and load the save into your editor from the desktop not from the USB. Insert all the files into each character that you want the files to go into. And rename the character to its original name and set it's play through number. After your finish with each character. Save it. Or save it each time. Close the save entirely and re load it. Check to make sure your inventory is there for each character. If it isn't just reinsert it back and save it. Repeat process until the save is correct.
Okay ignore the four character part but instead of 4 it will be 3 characters since you have 3. Try this and when your done re inserting everything then add the items you want into the characters item box.
P.s. Make sure to load the save after the calibrations have been downloaded. So after download leave it at title screen.

After I do this, will I be able to mod again or will I have to do this again?

Only time I have to do this is when I get a error but usually I don't have to do it if I unplug my USB and mod it after calibrations have been loaded. The next update should fix a bunch of these problems. But hey if you don't overboard your save trying to add a million things at once you should be fine. It really isn't a long process to do once you realize what to do. I have four characters and I can do it all In like 5 minutes tops.

Just every time you encounter a error and always make a back up.

Re: [PS3/XB360]Dark Souls II Save Editor V1.0.0.0
ChangeLog 1.0.1.1
*Added new STFS Fixer, to allow you to fix your corrupted xbox360 save when updated to latest callebration.
*Fixed Equipment Editor, you can now enjoy the awesome equipment interface for easy management.
*Fixed allot of bugs in inventory browser, works much more pleasant now.
*Added new Flag to the database, named as "CanHaveMoreThenOne".
That flag works only for the beltslot items, disabling the flag in the database section would make the item act as a single item.
Note! older Databases are rendered as unusable!
*Improved DB Reading, much faster now.
*Fixed the Equipment arrow editor to only show the proper items for the clicked slot.
*Updated Assembly to .Net Framework 4.5!
*Cleaned unused references, and code
*Fixed all the bugs known!

has anyone had a rulers sword plus 10? its strange to ask because I seen a video of someone having a plus 10 when I know its a plus 5. don't suppose the editor has it to add this.

Re: [PS3/XB360]Dark Souls II Save Editor V1.0.1.0
Okay so I looked through about 20 pages or so (probably more) and I can't figure out what my problem is. I modded my save the USB loader, all I did was add a bunch of items, well and changed my character level down one to make sure I could see the changes when I load my character. I saved the save through the editor then plugged it back into my Xbox. I load up DS2 and when I go to load up my character, everything is still the same as before I modded it... Without saving I check the save again and the save is still modded... any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?
*EDIT* and nevermind,m not sure what I did but I got it to work

Re: [PS3/XB360]Dark Souls II Save Editor V1.0.1.1
Hmm... I used it once, and it worked flawlessly, but upon creating a new character and using the editor again, I get the same "Failed to save returning to main menu" error in-game, in addition to not being able to go online. I went to use the "Restore STFS" option, but it goes to 86% before the editor itself gives me an error saying ""Buffer cannot be null. Parameter name: buffer". I'll try playing around with it and seeing if I can get it to work.
EDIT:
Well, I deleted the corrupted save and used my backup, and after I finished editing I still got the error, buuuuuut, this time the "Restore STFS" option didn't give me an error and after doing that and playing, everything seems to be working perfectly. The save doesn't close out to the main menu, and I can connect online. I imagine I'll probably have to use the "Restore STFS" option every time, but that's hardly a big deal. I'm still not sure what caused that STFS error before, but it hasn't happened since.
Thank you so much, Jappi!
@Shmooey:
I wouldn't add souls directly. It's better to add consumable souls (Old King Soul gives 75k), and I'd be careful with editing soul memory. If you edit it below what you'd have to have in order to be whatever level you are, FROM is likely to pick up on that. Be sure to use the "Restore STFS" option if you were having the same errors I was, as that was the sole thing that fixed it for me.

Getting this same error for a lot of different things such as adding souls or reducing soul memory

Re: [PS3/XB360]Dark Souls II Save Editor V1.0.1.1
I've got a question. Seeing as some slots aren't being read for some weird reason, can someone tell me what files coordinate to each of the 10 character slots for ps3? That way I can just decrypt, copy and rename the slots that work over the slots that don't and then just encrypt it back. I would really really appreciate any help someone could give me. Editing only 2 slots per save gets a little annoying...

Re: [PS3/XB360]Dark Souls II Save Editor V1.0.1.1
one thing i have noticed is that i cannot change my level independently of my stat score. i maxed out my stats but it wont set my level to whatever i wish. it will instead go straight to the max stats even without legit stats calculation being on. im happy with the rest of this of course. i just want to help people of lower levels

Level doesn't have anything to do with online. It is your soul memory that effects your online experience.

Jappi there is an bug when you add all the armors, swords, rings etc +10 to your item box it also adds all of the normal to your inventory as well. So you end up with what you want in your item box and extra non modified items that you didn't add.
P.S. Check your private messages. I have. Surprise for you :3 so please don't be discouraged about donations :(

Re: [PS3/XB360]Dark Souls II Save Editor V1.0.1.1
Does from check to see if you have nodded weapons that are not meant to pass an upgrade cap? For instance, I posted a couple days ago regarding me seeing someone with a rulers sword plus 10 when it is clearly supposed to be a plus 5. I used the editor and successfully made my ruler sword plus 10 and a couple other ones lol. But I am not sure if from checks that and I want to avoid being banned and will change them back asap. But if it's cool then I'll leave it as is.

I think the only way to get banned by weapons would be you giving someone them and they report you or that person really is an dark souls 2 moderator player.

Re: [PS3/XB360]Dark Souls II Save Editor V1.0.0.0
I followed all of the instructions and when I tried to play it claimed the save was corrupted and deleted it. Good thing I made a backup.
