Re: [PS3/XB360]Dark Souls II Save Editor V1.0.1.2
If I were to give myself rings, equipment and titanite to upgrade my gear with would the calibrations catch on to that and if so what would happen? Would my character be removed from multiplayer? My whole account and all my characters be removed from multiplayer? Or would my entire profile get banned from XBL? I'm just wondering about it before I go doing this to my characters. :022:

Re: [PS3/XB360]Dark Souls II Save Editor V1.0.1.2
So I've heard that they put the DLC weapons/armor in the latest patch to prepare for the release date, are you planning on adding these to the database prior to then, Jappi? No pressure to do so, I'm just excited as hell and want to get my hands on all that stuff as soon as I possibly can!

Actually you can add items into the editor your self using that database tab :) we just need the items id and bam we got the DLC items. :D

Re: [PS3/XB360]Dark Souls II Save Editor V1.0.1.2
The new update add a new file 16USER.DAT
I think jappi88 have to update the save editor to work with the new save files

Re: [PS3/XB360]Dark Souls II Save Editor V1.0.1.2
Hey jappi88. When I try to add items to the editors database it won't save. It fails. How can I fix that?

Use the STFS fixer. After loading your save.

Okay. What you need to do is create the BaseFile.bf that's in the resource folder. What you need to do is make sure your USB has no save on it. Go to dark souls 2 game and select your USB without a save on it. Scroll through the contract and click okay. Don't create a new character. Take the save you just create without any characters on it and extract it to the resource folder and click on the BaseFile.bf and Make sure the save is named the same as the basefile.bf your overwriting in the resource folder.

Click and go to my profile. Click send message. You have to upload your save(s) to sites like Dropbox or mediafire etc so I can download it. Just send me the link to your save that you uploaded

Re: [PS3/XB360]Dark Souls II Save Editor V1.0.1.2
Hello, first I'd like to apologize if I'm placing this in the wrong thread. With that said, I downloaded the patch this morning (XBOX 360), and since then, I keep getting an error when trying to load saves from my USB. I get the message: "Buffer cannot be null. Parameter name: buffer"
I'm not too experiences with save editing, and I'm not sure if any of this info is even helpful, but I thought I'd give it a shot.
Thanks.
Edit: I also get a message saying: "Failed to replace slot info," when I do get the save to load, then try to save after I've modded.

Rename the new save you created to BaseFile.BF
place the BaseFile.BF you just created into the tool resources folder, and overwrite if needed.
load the stfs fixer, select your corrupted file and hit start!
Transfer the corrupted file back to you MU and play.
Is that more clear. And correct me If I was wrong Jappi.

1). Insert a formatted USB into your Xbox.
2). Load up dark souls 2.
3). Select the USB drive on the storage page
4). Go through the contract page.
---you should see saving before and after
5). When you get to the home screen (new game, load etc...) pull out your USB.
6). Extract it to your desktop.
7). Once on desktop. Rename the save to BaseFile.BF
8). Go to where ever you have your dark souls 2 save editor at and there should be a resources folder.
---it has your item database, BaseFile.BF, Etc.
9). Copy and paste or drag the save you named to BaseFile.BF to the resource folder.
10). Click overwrite or replace.
11). You are done
NOTE:
-Make sure the save has NO CHARACTERS on it and that it is a correct 14mb save.
-Don't click rehash and save within horizon. Just copy it over to your USB to make sure that it doesn't shrink your save. (Idk if that will work) (the save editor rehashes and saves for you)
-Remember that the save can't have no characters on it. So once you get through the contract on dark souls 2 and click yes. You will have a save without an characters on it.
Try these steps and see if that fixes your problem.

Re: [PS3/XB360]Dark Souls II Save Editor V1.0.0.0
Thanks so much! That worked! I was able to add my favorite sword and a spell to my character, but now, I'm getting an in-game message that says: "Failed to save. Returning to Title Menu." Lol, I'm sorry to be a bother, but any suggestions on that?
Edit: Just got it all working. Anything I wanted to add, I had to add to the item box. Thanks again for all the help. :)

Re: [PS3/XB360]Dark Souls II Save Editor V1.0.1.2
Jappi will you be updating the editor so that the Sunken King items are in there as well?

Re: [PS3/XB360]Dark Souls II Save Editor V1.0.1.2
Hi, I'm having a problem, maybe someone can help me figure out what I'm doing wrong. I use the editor on a PS3 save and the editor shows all the mods I've made, but when I load the save on my cfw PS3 it shows the original data not the modded data that the editor shows. when I load the same save back up in the editor, it continues to show the mods have been made. I'm lost, anyone know how to fix this?

http://www.360haven.com/forums/threa...-DLC-Hex-Codes you can already get SOME ,not all, of the items. I made a inventory download using the tools function of the editor that adds all working hex ids to you character. But the inventory only has the dlc items in it that have been found. So back up your save if you decide to use these items ;)

Usually using the restore STFS after updating the BaseFile.bf fixes that. Have you used the STFS fixer in the editor ?

Re: [PS3/XB360]Dark Souls II Save Editor V1.0.1.2
Having serious issues after update. Buffer null, failure to replace, etc. I was fine before update even with high equipment numbers (Arrows etc.) Seems to not work at all even after making new saves and incorporating something from the old saves such as inventory. I'll leave a link here:( https://www.mediafire.com/folder/g4t...ixcapi9/shared ) There's two files, the Males is completely shot. The Females will let you view the profiles. I will be more active here and I hope to see a solution to this issue. Thank You.

Re: [PS3/XB360]Dark Souls II Save Editor V1.0.1.2
so i just downloaded this and im having trouble getting it to work.
when i launch the .exe file, it starts to download the .db files, the progress bar (that i saw in the OP) doesnt show up at all and once it gets onto Paramaters.db it says that the download has timed out :/
Also no files are added into the resources folder that is created on the desktop.
Any suggestions to fix this? are the .db files uploaded somewhere so that i can dl them separately?

These are my files for the resource folder. just drag and drop them into yours. but i recommend making your own DataBase.bf file (Save without any characters on it named BaseFile.bf). https://www.dropbox.com/sh/z9yyqqtbx...DdeUO7C1YqH8fa
