Re: [PS3/XB360]Dark Souls II Save Editor V1.0.0.1
For anyone having problems with adding items to their inventory make sure you remove everything from your character. Spells you have attuned, anything on your belt and all items equipped such as armor, weapons and rings. I've been adding tons of different items left and right and have never had a problem with removed or rearranged items anywhere since I've started doing this before taking my saves to mod.

Re: [PS3/XB360]Dark Souls II Save Editor V1.0.0.1
Very nice work Jappi, much appreciated. The issues I reported previously are no longer present, I am able to edit my characters to my liking regardless of how many items that character has and the game no longer freezes on load.
-
U cant Edit char stats.. Need use souls in game for it
Jappi, i think estus flask have a problem.. HP Donte recover.. An spells have only 1 use forever.,.

Re: [PS3/XB360]Dark Souls II Save Editor V1.0.0.1
Is there a way that we can add the spells with legit uses but say 5 of each.
Thanks 4 the amazing editor.

I will try this later when I get on the Xbox, hopefully it fixes my corruption problem. Thanks for the pointer KoStorms.

Re: [PS3/XB360]Dark Souls II Save Editor V1.0.0.1
Don't add the Dull Ember to your inventory. That causes the freezing. I don't know why, but that happens with every DkS2 editor.
Here's the save that got corrupted. The problem went as follows:
I modded everything, as normal, made sure not to add the Dull Ember.
Put it back on my USB and loaded it up. It started, I had maybe 5 minutes of activity, until it once again said "Unable to Save Game, Returning to Title Screen" and then I was unable to reaccess the save, it said it was corrupted.

And here's the backup:

Hopefully this helps. Again, thank you for your hard work, Jappi.

Jappi I tried injecting the save file into my usb using Horizon, because the save is still corrupting even when I try to take off all gear, spells, etc. It came up with this message "FATX: corrupt FAT chain found while freeing clusters" Not sure if this is means much to you as I am not a programmer. :001:
Attached is the save that this happened with.
Thanks for your work, we appreciate it.
Edit: This also shows up if I try to load the save to rehash and resign it without injecting.
"FATX: file byte offset to physical byte offset failed during non-cached synchronous I/O [0xC0000102]"
If I try to load it in 360 Revolutions or any other file manager they crash...
Second Edit: Just saw you updated the tool I will try it now to see if it fixes my problem.
Third Edit: Jappi you brilliant creature It works after the last update! As soon as my layoff is over I am donating to you!

Try to use the build in usb manager to mod your save, try to avoid horizon at any cost.

Nice. I only have 1 question will we be able to add multiple copies of the same spell or just change spell uses?
Edit: with this version that is.

I did a quick grab of v.1.0.0.3 (thanks a million for this, Jappi. Wonderful work !); I did what KoStorms suggested. So far so good. I have been able to add the "rare" rings proper.
I did not get that error suggesting the "...save is being used elsewhere" message. I even have the dull ember. Did not get any items misplaced in the inventory AFAICT.

Re: [PS3/XB360]Dark Souls II Save Editor V1.0.0.1

Just being curious here, does Horizon cause any known problems? That's what I've been using and have had no issues, but if you recommend not using it with the editor I think I won't anymore ha ha.

Does the editor rehash/resign? cause last time I tried that with out horizon it didn't load till I rehased/resigned with horizon.
Edit: Also does anyone know what the hex id is for Inquisitor's Blade?

This item can not be aquired, and is simply a left over in the code.
The closest thing you will find is the Chaos Blade, Berserker Blade or Manslayer the last two having the highest base damage out of the Katanas.

Yes I know that but I just had to find out my self cause he did put the images in for both Shadow Claw & Inquisitor's Blade, so I would rather hear it from him to confirm that. If there really isn't a way to get these items then it just makes me wonder why they are in there along with those 2 rings, vengeful & guilty.

If items dont show means they are not supported by the game yet.
The gender switch is A know bug and so are the gestures disapearing... They will be fixed in the next update.

After doing everything that u said in this post and without using any other tools as "modio/horizon" it worked perfectly even when altering an already modded save using Obyto editor.
Great work Jappi88. :yeh:

Re: [PS3/XB360]Dark Souls II Save Editor V1.0.0.3
Jappi maybe I found a bug :048: When I load the character, in the "Player Status" tab, even though mine is a male character, it's automatically set on female :003: Should I change the gender or it still remains male? However, I still have to use the editor so I've changed anything yet :049:
Edit: Just another thing :033: Is it me or the pictures are a bit faded?

Yes you will have to change your gender back to male. My only glitch I get is when adding certain items like keys or petrified something. They get placed in the inventory where they don't belong or they're in 2 places at once.

Re: [PS3/XB360]Dark Souls II Save Editor V1.0.0.3
Thanks for this amazing editor!
Is it possible to make this compatible with the mega mule saves out there? Some others like myself are already using these mule saves and would love to make some modifications using your editor. The pvp save I am using is a version that starts from NG+ and has all the bonfires activated already. Please have a look into the save when you have time, thanks in advance.
At the moment after making changes using the editor and after save, it says successful but when i reload the save nothing has changed so somehow it is not recording the changes.
Here is the save i am using: http://1drv.ms/1nj8flR
The other request on changing body type and body physics would be nice too when you have time to implement it in the future, currently i am using the largest body type and physics and found it difficult to fight in certain areas.

Follow those steps and dont use modio or horizon to extract the save just load from usb with the editor.
It worked for me.
