of course. Removed everything. Strangely it works when adding items like Sunlight Medals,Rat Tails etc. But adding armor, weapons messes it up.

Sorry it didn't work for u i added some weapons/rings and a bunch of items both to my inventory and the item box and it all work fine. Was ur save modded by u or was it one of those "megamule" saves?
PS:My save was previously modded with Obyto save editor.

Re: [PS3/XB360]Dark Souls II Save Editor V1.0.0.3
Thanks for your effort, Jappi! Unfortunately, I am having an issue where anytime I add any item, say a single ring, it will work fine for a couple of saves in game, and then says it has failed to save and will corrupt my save from there. I also noticed that the file size for my save seems to stay the same until the game spits it out, and then the file size is larger. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

no,no,no..no modding by me or megamule. I made a new character, much better looking(my first character has like 99% of items, weapons, shields, armor etc,is on NG+6 LVL 420 but hes ugly as hell,im a collector),specifically for Jappi's save editor, counting on the fact that i will be able to add stuff so i dont have to farm. But while Jappi was working on updates i said what the hell and farmed and i got to owning some 90% of items. the only stuff i need is stuff like Catarina Armor,Warlock Helm,Cursed Bone Shield and Ruin Gloves and legs. so its not a big deal. but thanks

Re: [PS3/XB360]Dark Souls II Save Editor V1.0.0.3
There are problems if i add only souls? I mean something like freez, corrupted save and similar things? Or should I change something else too? Also... Is there a way to modify deaths resetting them or set the number I prefer? :006:

There's always the risk, but if you don't go overboard you should be fine if you make sure that the souls/stats are legit, I usually just give myself a bunch of large hero souls to use.
Does anyone know if just having the dull ember in your inventory causes a crash?

Using the editor (or any editor, in my experience) to give yourself the Dull Ember will cause it to freeze on loading screen.

Hi Jappi88 i just wanted to say that there is problem with Barrel and other removed content it would kick ass if you could repair that i mean removed content exists in save editor but it does not appear in inventory :C

Don't worry guys :055: I'm sure Jappi is already working on a fix :yeah: What we can do is report calmly all the bugs and errors we find so that he can check them :yeh:

Re: [PS3/XB360]Dark Souls II Save Editor V1.0.0.3
Oh, I suppose I should mention. It's kind of a minor issue, but the torch editing doesn't work. I tried both using the torch time editor and manually giving myself torches (to both my item box and inventory) and nothing happened. However this is a minor issue, since I have spells to illuminate and there's a rare need for torches.

Re: [PS3/XB360]Dark Souls II Save Editor V1.0.0.0
In case anyone is worried about getting banned from the servers, an easy way to avoid that is to not mod your souls directly. Add useable souls, no more than 99 otherwise the file will corrupt because you're not supposed to stack over 99, and level up from those souls to reach desired level. The best souls to use are, obviously, the boss souls you acquire later in the game but even better are the Old One's souls that you would normally get from NG+ and on. Keep in mind that you should only add just under 800 items, or 8 different souls with 99 souls in each stack, to prevent the game from either corrupting or just not loading the items at all. One load from doing this should get you between level's 300-400, depending on what souls you added. This is about 13-15 million SM (Soul Memory). Also note that this will allow all but one to two stats to be leveled to 50. This should be adequate enough to be able to wield any armor, weapon, shield, etc. You can still die very easily in the game but it just makes the game slightly easier in the beginning. The harder area's are just that. Harder. Good luck to all and have fun!

You get banned if your SL and SM doesn't match. I've played online just fine with my character and his stats match. For example at max SL a character would have had to obtained a SM of over 407 million. That's not even including souls you didn't use for leveling. The save corrupts if you use more than 99 at once (I tested it with my character). You can have max number just have to use 99 at a time.

Imo you shouldn't be invading on a modded character anyway. That's pretty unsportsmanlike. Modding your single player experience and killing invaders is one thing, they came into YOUR world, but invading someone else's world on a modded character is.. yeah, no bueno.

Dont exist "unsportsmanlike", because this is a video game not a sport
Kill invaders or invading and kill with a save modded its the same for "Fromsoftware", you are going to be banned
Dont say "no bueno", say "No esta bien"

If you can only see summon signs and blood stains and the occasional ghost apparitions you are probably banned you don't need to see a notice from the developers as stated above
-
Re: [PS3/XB360]Dark Souls II Save Editor V1.0.0.3
you can only see them for boss areas you have yet to beat
you must be within 20 levels of every one else and you must be within 20% soul memory as everyone else
also if you are wearing a name ring it will disable summons for about 80% of the server

Re: [PS3/XB360]Dark Souls II Save Editor V1.0.0.0
Has anyone had a problem with the edited save freezing on the "saving content" screen? I have used this multiple times with no issues, but now I am on ng+++ and just trying to add a few keys, not even all of them, but when I start up the game again it goes through all of the loading/calibration whatever junk, and then when it gets to they grey saving content screen with the circular purple icon it freezes. I have all my armor off, items, rings, spells, everything you can take off, and that doesn't seem to matter.
Just curious,,
thank you Jappi for an amazing editor! It's pretty unreal and I have already donated. Amazing work!
Save Editor V1.0.0.3 is what I am using.

Save Editor V1.0.0.3 is what I am using.
It could depend on what keys you are trying to add. If they're keys that are specific to mob drops and not pick-ups from a point in the game, that could be what's causing it. This is just a guess though. I've only had problems with adding too many items, or adding over 99 of an item. But that usually results in a corrupted file or just not adding any items at all. I'd say, avoid adding things that cause a crash or corruption of the file until Jappi has had a chance to update and tweak the editor for a while. I'm just happy to have the editor from one of the best Devs here!
