I asume you used the build in usb manager? And did not use any other programs?if so then my usb lib might have some flaws regarding the block management.
Try using party bufalo explorer or any other good usb managers to extract\replace your save.
If the usb is indeed the problem then i can fix it no prob...but i have to be sure first.
If its not related to the usb manager then upload your backup so i can take a look at what went wrong.

Yes i use all the time at the point you point to me to use the include usb manager of the tool.
Ofcourse, i will make a new game and i will use this time the '' party bufalo explorer '' for extract and replace the save.
Gonna test it right now. i'll let you know.

The party buffalo doesnt rehash/resign? is that a problem?

Ok, I've tried the new update. There is something wrong :048: No problem in loading the save, but after that start some issues... :003: Untile now I've tried to mod only inventory items and shards (or rather consumable souls and titanite pieces). The first thing I noticed is that some values are busted (like estus flask 1 insted of 4). However when I mod an item (in this case are the consumable souls like "large soul of a proud knight" but I think it's the same for all other items), if I select that item and try to increase its number in the bar below, all seems to go well. But if I select another item, the bar below continues to keep the information of the previous item. Then I have to double click on the item I want to mod and change the value in the new tab opened. Always speaking of the bar below, it opens even without clicking (it opens simply by hovering over with the mouse pointer), which causes issues such as the involuntary "Move to ItemBox" of the selected item :006: Anyway, modified what I want, I save the changes (seems without problems) and try to load the save, but here comes the biggest strangeness :033: Compared to the previous update, now the save is loaded fine but when I start the game and open the equipment, it's completely empty :033: Or rather, remain equipped only 2 swords (and they're not the ones I had equipped :033:) and, despite the rest of the equipment has been removed, my character still wearing it :075: Something really weird, isn't it? :041: However Jappi, I don't seem to have found other problems besides these at the moment, but could be more of them :006: I tried to explain these problems the best I can :003: I hope it will be useful :049:

If the editor is having problems running right then delete it and re-download it. Before you do anything to your save make sure you have everything removed from your character. Spells, weapons, armor and anything hot keyed on the belt so nothing can get removed or moved improperly. Try making sure you have all three of the center options unchecked in the inventory tab before adding or changing any values. Also if you can, add items through the database instead of changing values in the inventory tab. So if you have 2 souls of whatever but want a total of 99 then add 97 from it. I originally had a couple problems like this including a few you have said. This is what I've been doing and no problems since the original release. :)

Yes im aware of the equipment isseu...
The game uses item index for the equiped items, the indexes are being calculated in a weard way...i though i had it but there is something else going on.
The problem is not really big though, its a matter of getting the proper item indexes by using their count method.
There are bigger isseus to intend to first, but all will be solved in due time.

My tool does manage the attributes beyond your understanding. So complication like that may happen.

Seems the editor can't be used a second time. If I try, the game crash after a few seconds after the start saying smething about the impossibility to save and load the save :054: This time, before modifiyng the save, I removed all equipment but seems to make no difference :006:

did you use the build in usb manager ? or did you use horizon ? please be clear on what you did

I added some souls and titanite shards. I used horizon to extract since the manager seems to create issues to somebody :033:

u modded ur souls or added consumable souls?
if u want to add consumable souls add them to ur itembox and it will work. but it works better as jappi sayd use the built in manager it always works for me.

Consumable souls, I thought was better not to mod general souls. However, if I tray to load the save directly from usb the editor doesn't find it: "No SaveGames Found"

By the way, while I tried to load the PS3 save through FTP link, the program (both 1.03 & 1.04) would get error and then exit by itself, no matter I tried for the US or Traditional Chinese version (BLUS50536)...

I am on my 360, using a usb flash drive. I modded what I would mod before that worked for me which was: 2 Sets of every weapon at 5 upgrade lvl, all boows same level, all clothes same lvl, all rings, 999 of all shards and upgrade items, 99 of the unstoning item, and 99 of the pharros lock stones, and it usually always works.

Well damn bro that may just be it. You are literally adding thousands of items at once. Jappi stated don't add more than or close to around 800 at a time. Try doing the two of everything equipment wise first. Then the shards in at most 750 each time you mod. Item shouldn't take more than a few modding trips to get everything you want. Also if you really are adding two of everything then make sure you are not accidentally adding any item that is flagged for a possible corruption. I hope this helps. :)

Hi, um... I want to make a cosplay, and the only sword that fits it isn't available until late in the game. It's not an overpowered sword or anything, but I definitely want to use it online. As an added precaution, I'll make the character offline, and the first time she goes online the item would already be added in... So... what are the chances of getting in trouble if all I do is add that one item to a character? Sorry if this is a dumb question...

Xbox or ps3 ? If xbox, did you use the build in usb manager? If so try using party buffalo instead to extract and replace ur save...if u use horizon or something else then i sugest you still use party buffalo.
There will be a update by the end of the week that solves most of the corruption, until then try to be creative, and expiriment with it.

jappi will u change the spells uses?
so that the uses will be the default "Soul Arrow 30-40" now the values r spell uses with 94 attunement lvl.

Xbox, but load directly from usb doesn't work :054: However, maybe it's a coincidence, but the crush happens when I open any one sort of menu like inventory, equipment, etc. even the bonfire menu :033: Like I said, it could be a coincidence since the save crush after a few seconds :054:

Dear Jappi I have New PRoblem : I Changed My Save With Tool Ver 1.0.3 And Worked Perfectly And At The End I Changed Any Item Example : Add New Item or Add 999999999 Souls Or Torch Time , My Save Game Willl Freeze !! Now I changed Back up of my Save With 1.0.0.4 Got Freeze , I Dont Know Why I cant change Any Item , My Save Game Wll Be Freeze ??!!!

Guys, listen.. for the xbox users ( because i have a xbox ) i will recommend extract/replace explorer '' Party Buffalo ''
Don't use the intern usb explorer or other programs like Horizon.
Don't know if party buffalo also works for PS3 save's.
1. Extract the save with Party Buffalo
2. Edit in the editor 1.0.0.0.4
3. Hit on save in the editor
4. Replace you save with the prgram party buffalo
And you done.
