Description:
This editor allows you to mod PP, kills, character stats and your whole inventory.
You can do funny things like 1-Hit-Kill, Super-Throw and Super-Speed, but please note that the game is not intended to work with all this, so it could freeze at some point. The next great thing is the inventory editor, which allows you to give you the best weapons at the beginning of the game, so you can get achievements more easier.
Since I have not figured out all item IDs it can happen, that you see something like "Unknown Item ID [?]". In this case it would be nice, if you could send me your save, so I can add the item in later updates.
How to use:
1) Connect your device to your computer.
2) Run Horizon (or your favourite device manager) and extract your Dead Rising save.
2) Run the editor, select your save, mod what you want and save it.
3) Back in Horizon, replace the old save with the modded one.

If you like the editor, I would be happy if you say thanks. :)
Have fun!

Re: Dead Rising - Save Editor v1.0.0.0
Thanks :)
Right now, I am working on a update for the editor, which supports some stats like attack, stock, health, throw distance and speed.
Also I am planning an inventory tab, where you can edit your items (Just need 150 more IDs xD), they stability and the number of bullets for example.
Have really problems to figure out the survivors and the notebook entries, but perhaps one day ...
Well, now an short summary for the next update:
- Attack (1-Hit-Kill possible)
- Stock (Up to 17 inventory slots possible)
- Health (Up to 65 health blocks possible)
- Throw distance (Super-Throw)
- Speed (You can be faster than the camera)
- Inventory Editor

Re: Dead Rising - Save Editor v1.0.0.0
nice work on this editor Philymaster

Re: Dead Rising - Save Editor v1.0.0.0
So finally updated to version 1.1.0.0.
It supports character and inventory editing.
Because I tested the inventory editor only with few saves it would be help to report all bugs to me. Also I did not figure out all item IDs, so if you read Unknown Item ID [?] in the editor, please send me your save data, so I can add the item in a later update.
Thanks and have fun! ;)

Re: Dead Rising - Save Editor v1.0.0.0
Just uploaded version 1.1.1.0 due to some serious bugs in the last version, which broke some savegames. These are fixed now.
Besides of that I added some important items like Laser Sword, Stun Gun and Molotov Cocktails.

Re: Dead Rising - Save Editor v1.0.0.0
This tool has been on my list for always wanting a tool like this now if you do one for Dead Rising 2 and OTR I would love you beyond your wildest dreams!

Re: Dead Rising - Save Editor v1.0.0.0
Philymaster I really enjoyed this save editor you did for Dead Rising I especially like the super speed stat it makes me chuckle every time...Will you be adding a clothing editor to the Save Editor? I wouldn't mind if a Dead Rising 2 and OTR editor came out like this , these type of editors are awesome. Thank you Philymaster for making this editor..Also are there any hidden items in Dead Rising that can be used?

I'm glad you like the editor. :)
At some point I'll make editors for the newer Dead Risings, but have no time at the moment and other projects are in work first.

I have not researched clothes yet, but those things are hard to find in the save file, because the game changes so much that you can't locate it. But I'll try to find it + survivors and notebook stuff in the next time. I don't know if there are hidden items. I tried to set all item IDs in a row, but because some items are heavy items you can't store in your inventory the game freezes a lot and cost me some nerves already. :D
Of course it could be possible, because my editor only supports about 120 items and there are a lot of more IDs. Hope I find a way to suppress the freezes, so I can test all items faster.

Re: Dead Rising - Save Editor v1.0.0.0
I don't know if someone noticed it, but my MediaFire account was suspended due to copyright infringement. By now that means all my links are dead and the next problem is, that I don't have the sources of my older editors ... sadly.
Anyways, I added a MEGA link for the Dead Rising editor. Will try to update all my other threads the next days.

Re: Dead Rising - Save Editor v1.0.0.0
This is pretty awesome. I'll have to dig out my old copy of the game to edit my parameters. If only there were some way to edit the survivors in the party for lots of hijinks lolz. Seriously though, thanks for this. Dead Rising is one of my favorite games of all time, and this can breath some new life into it.

Re: Dead Rising - Save Editor v1.0.0.0
Thank you Philymaster! Can't wait to try it out as I just bought the game. Will give you input and reports if needed or I see anything wrong. You usually do great work, so I will probably not experience many errors or bugs, if any.

Re: Dead Rising - Save Editor v1.0.0.0
Any idea if this'll work with Infinity Mode? Maybe life would and other stats what about inventory if anyone knows?

Should you find bugs or unknown item IDs just let me know. :)

I did not tested in Infinity Mode, but it should work, because you have all the stats from the story mode.
The game just limits the health to 65.535 blocks and the inventory to 17 (or 19? Don't remember right now).

Thank you very much for the save editor

Re: Dead Rising - Save Editor v1.0.0.0
I have to say that this had made it a lot easier to get the real mega bluster instead of just mowing down Zombies.
Thanks

Re: Dead Rising - Save Editor v1.0.0.0
Thanks for the great editor, it works awesome, I am just wondering if you could add food to the inventory that could make the game and 5,7 days easier, thanks again!

Re: Dead Rising - Save Editor v1.1.1.0
I'm surprised that no one made a reply to complain about the ammo bug issue. When I add my weapons and change the amount of ammo I need. It just
resets everything back down to 1 along with it's health condition. I test it in game and all of my ammo have been reset back to 1 and I can only use my items 1 time. Why
is that? Thanks
-
Re: Dead Rising - Save Editor v1.0.0.0
Thank you.
I will try it.

Re: Dead Rising - Save Editor v1.0.0.0
Hey Neo, did you try it yet? Any problems with the ammo being reset back to 1?
