I might add a small update soon to make it where you can copy anything(Not the Height value)
also there is a major issue with saving the movesets so I will look to see what's causing this issue
then I will update you all when it's resolved so be patient

here you go. I used both le fluffie and horizon and these are the messages i get when i open the file in the save editor.
the file is called SaveFile.dat
so what did you do?
you didnt extract the file did you? just use the regular file, you dont need to extract it. just take it off the USB drive and load it into the program(and dont forget to make a back up first)
when i take the file straight from the hard drive to a usb and open the tool i get those messages. If I try to extract it i get the second error. this happens when i use either the new Horizon or Le Fluffie.

this might or might not fix it.
but try saving in the game first once or twice to clear any junk in the save file(the Yukes save files are really bad about clearing up their own junk)
just go to options save manager and manually save.
then try reloading it into the program. also you dont need to extract the file, just copy it straight off the USB drive.
also his program does load for you right? this is only an issue when loading the savedata file?
I think so. everything is greyed out. i figure when i load the save file the tool will show allow me to use it.
okay then if you are doing everything correct and it is still giving you that message.....try PM'ing me the save if you don't mind, i'll try and load it. otherwise Luaghclown might just have a bug that he needs to fix.
I had the same errors when I was loading my mod tool from Winrar so he needs to extract the folder itself heres a screenshot

Lol it was for the other guy because he might be loading my tool directly from winrar
if not then it might be because his pc can't handle the program because of it loading 3,000 plus moves
into the comboboxes or the 1,000 plus entrance animations it can take up a bit of memory
i'll see if I can also load the Dictionaries more quickly so it doesn't take up too much memory
Yeah it is the latter, being that I said it show's a memory error. I'm pretty sure Noone on this board would run a program from winrar, especially if you have to run as a admin.
well do you have a different newer computer you can try it on?

So I used my windows 10 pc and it loaded the save sorta.
I get the message : value cannot be null
Parameter name:item
And it now shows in info editor the groups I can modify but they are all blank.
i have 2 sizes for the file, which one is the correct size: 735kb and 684kb
The tool looks pretty fucking great, but unfortunately it does not work for me.
I've tried to unlock everything time and time again, but it just doesn't work. I thought that changing some attributes will alleviate that problem, but unfortunately nothing happens. Everything stays locked and the stats remain the same.
I'm following the instructions from the first post perfectly. I don't know where the problem is.

okay those file sizes are very small. in fact too small. a standard 2k17 savedata file size is about 4.3 MB. there are 1024 KB in a MB....so your file sizes are way off.

Please someone help using old and new editors gender mods don't work and unlock all as well have followed directions carefully with horizon as well as closing tool as directions state inject file
save back to device seems odd that more of the unlocked superstars appear but gender mods do not take any helpfull suggestions please
hey guys. finally got it to work and i must say thanks works like a charm.. the only item i was curious about was the rename wrestler. Is there way to do free form text versus whats in the drop down?
Unfortunately no because they used the wrestlers ID's like in SVR 11 but, You can change their names to anyone who is in
the game like say you pick Alexa Bliss and you wanted her name to be changed to Bray Wyatt for some reason you can do it,
Remember to swap the wrestlers name you just took from Bray Wyatt then replace his name with Alexa Bliss.
I unlock everything but it doesn't appear on the game. Why?

- When you now copy from any title and paste it to any title the colors will now store correctly.
Here is what I added:
- Added if a selected wrestler or caw has a Tag Team or not
- Added if a selected wrestler or caw holds any titles and how many they hold

if we could only add old characters(wwe12-2k16) to 2k17 i would be fine. fuzz/LC, have you guys figured out how to add people, i guess as dlc for selection?
its only possible with an RGH or JTAG console as a non modded console will check the DLC you try and add and thus you would get banned assuming you even get it to load the unsigned code as its called.
with only a modded CD drive you can replace characters and only replace the non DLC guys.
if this interests you head over to smacktalks.org. they have people who do this stuff....but again you will never an RGH or JTAG console. you can do it yourself to an xbox you got lying around or spend 200-300 roughly for one.

i havent been on smacktalks in ages....but yes that was probably the last place. all the truly elite hackers have moved on from this game.
all me and laughing clown are really doing is messing with the savedata file. we'd try and do more but a lack of an RGH console makes this hard. also its not like anyone told us anything about the inner workings of this game....it's largely been a from ground 0 several years too late.
so we simply havent touched the roster models.....i know Yukes changes them yearly and i know it needed to be figured out for 2k17. but i just never did it and never messed with the ARC files. i'd be of no help there.
if you ask me....around 2k14 time everyone who hacked these games got burned out.....Hacker T left, Brienj left, Pure Rax left. and sadly they didnt exactly leave their notebooks of knowledge behind. its why LaughingClown is having so much trouble with his program, heck its why he hasnt added a CAW injector or anything because the CAS files checksum is a pain.
also that 2k14 legends project i think stunted any hacking for the future games....im not sure why 2k14 was there game of choice. i like 2k16 better myself.
i also really dont like the next gen versions of the game(they just play like dog poop)....so i've got little desire to mess around with that on the PC either.

its understandable to stick with what you can hack.
but i never liked the fast strikes of 2k14.
2k16 felt like it found the right balance of all the ones from 2012 onwards.
so i dont think we are messing with any SDCH files.....either that my memory is going dead.
someone else figured out the checksum for 2k16. to do it you must extract and break up the file. we just used his program....funny enough the checksum in 2k16 and 2k17 are identical. so yeah all we mess with is the savedata file.....unless we could ever figure out the paint tool and CAS checksum.
but i agree with you....variety is badly needed in this series. i loved when we had 3 different games....i could pick the one i liked(DOR 1 and 2 for life!!!). now im going to be stuck with the terrible next gen versions

well in the CAW mode i know got altered. i think you could hack in WWE 12 and earlier nude CAWs....in WWE 13 they added an extra layer of underwear to prevent that. so the CAW isnt 100% the time.
