But there seems to be a check in the data where each individual skill point gets subtracted from a pool of the 49 possible points and parented to each trained skill. I just cant for the life of me find that pool of points. I'm sure that if I can find where that check is linked to I can modify the the total skill points. It just takes alot of trial and error, lots of loading my save files ingame, making slight changes and bringing it back to HxD. Its a pain in the ass
Your hard work is going to make alot of people happy. Would it be easier to find in a new game, comparing an un-modded save to one that has been leveled to 50 with all points unspent?

I'm basically doing that right now, thanks though. What I did was take a level 50 with no points spent and I use that as my control file. Then I load my game up and spend one point, exit and extract the file back to my computer, compare the entire file for any changes, and repeat. The problem is every time the game saves to the file it updates all sorts of strings, including the time in the game, location, spent points, and a bunch of other variables you wouldn't notice otherwise ingame. In layman's terms, theres lots of shit to sift through.

Yeah finding small numbers is a huge pain in the ass, when I was modding skill points in Mass Effect 1 they were a slight pain to find but the number was in the hundreds I think which made it a bit easier, and it was slightly uncommon with only a few instances.

You still need to insert this into the root of your save, replacing the other save_1. Then rehash/resign it and you should be all set. If you gave me the whole save file I could have done all that for you.

I think I just figured out how to add weapons to the save files. Someone give me a save file with no weapons on it and I'll try to add some for you
Edit and how to add mods to the weapons via the hex editor
Edit Tired, going to bed. I'll continue working on this tomorrow
