Plus, it would only make sense that way; why bother leveling up the stats of your own character if you can't take it online?
I'm about 80% certain they do transfer. I could be wrong, but I've been told they do. You might try it yourself before going off my word though, because I may be wrong.
EDIT: I for one am really looking forward to this editor. I wouldn't mind hexing the game myself or even helping with research, but checks and/or hashes don't get along with me.
Yea I'll probably be doing that once I get to my system, doing some online testing to see if they do carry over (much like Freestyle did with Raging Blast 2), if so I'm going to need to need to start researching else where like capsules, Character Unlocks, Unlockable Created Character stuff, etc.. and completely abandon Character Stats.
(Once Ren gets his game, then we can really start tackling research on things to edit.)
Re: Dragonball Z - Ultimate Tenkaichi Modding - Saves Needed!
I'm really going to seperate myself from online carry overs...However, since the game is a strategy game and not a full on spam attack like RB1+2, then judging by how much the stat edits will effect online i may allow it to slip this once. But if it's major, and gives a slight advantage over another player, it's a definite no. But there will be SP things we can unlock for sure.

I was so unbelievably sad when I went to 3 stores to find out it was sold out. Why didn't I pre-order...

lol Don't be sad. You really aren't missing anything on Day 1.
I think the game is OK but I think its a Button-Mashers Wet Dream. (Saying that, being an avid fighting game player: RB2, BlazBlue, Soul Calibur, Tekken, etc...)
You auto-chain combos by mashing the X or Y, you only have 2 Supers and the Timed Single Button Sequence is VERY delayed with is probably the only thing that takes skill, practicing how delayed exactly that is to hit the B button in the middle of the circle.
When RB2 you have 4 Equipped Supers, you have a wide variety of combos you can pull off, fighting engine was very fluid. Yea, you had some n00bs that would spam, but they could be easily beat with skill or counter-spam with spam of your own.
All In all, I do like how they tried to integrate Budokai fighting engine and Tenkaichi fighting engine in one game, the Create a Character, Environmental damage, and the in-battle interactive cut-scenes.
They just need to make it more fighting and less in-battle interactive cut-scenes (RPS - Rock, Paper, Scissors), fix that Button delay, and make the fighting a little more fluid. Then I would be a great happy camper.
Personal final Verdict: I'll keep the game, I'll play it and try to have more fun (then the fun that I already have playing it) but I'n not getting rid of my RB2 and I'll probably be on that more. I dunno maybe some DLC and Patches to fix some issues might change my mind a little. I do still like it tho.....its just not challenging enough (IMO).

Bare in mind, that they had less than half a year to make this game with their license expiring at the end of this year. I think they done a good job. I mean look at it, they developed a new engine, a new method of playing, RB1 had 2 years development, RB2 had 1 and a half years which was just buffing up RB1 a little. Though the 56+ characters that were cut from Beta to Final release, idk why, but i'm sure there was a valid reason for that.

ooooooo I see, I wasn't aware of their licensing expiring. That would make of some sense.

EDIT: Figured it out already. It does have the same one. Ren, I'll work with ya on this if you'd like I was able to edit my Custom Hero 3. :)
