Presumably, adding ":<durability>" is how you would prefer it ?
i.e.

Yeh..do somthing like this => hexid:itemname:15:80 ,That should be fine.

I've done the Weapons and the Shields - just working on the Armor.
When I've finished, what's the best way for me to get the files to you ?

a) if it's set too low, you'll get the broken weapon message but if you're using this editor, having souls to repair the thing isn't really an issue
b) if it's set too high, you won't get a message and once the thing gets used, it will reset itself to the max durability minus a bit of use
c) if it's set correctly, then everything is fine
I generally do a lookup on the Dark Souls wiki to get the correct durability and only enter the first durability value and leave the max durability set to 0.
So in other words I cant set durability extra high so I wont have to repair a weapon/armor? If I set it to it's "official" durability it shouldn't appear broken? I tried repairing the "broken" 9999 durability armor/weapons but they wont show as being repaired.

Yes and Yes - that's the theory. I did have an instance recently after adding some Armor and I set the durability too low, the game recognized that the armor needed repairing but it wouldn't repair it. However, a few moments later, it would. I'm not sure what the trigger was but I've certainly seen situations where the game doesn't acknowledge certain things immediately after loading some newly added items. An example, adding 99, say, lightning resin - they would be in the inventory and they could be used from a hotkey but the game wouldn't interact with them using the Item menu i.e. "Use Item" or "Drop Item" - then a minute or so later, it would.

Thanks a ton, I'll give it a try. So what exactly is the Max Durability slot and should I always leave that to 0? I noticed a piece of armor I had from the game showed up as having something like 185 current durability and 3 under the Max durability slot.
Re: [NEW] Dark Souls - Save editor
I've been leaving the Max Durability as 0 without any problems (jappi is really the only one who'd be able to tell you exactly what is going on with that field).
The only bits of kit that I've seen with really low durability are the Crystal items. For example, an Uchi normally has a max durability of 80 but the Crystal version has a max durability of 8. It would appear as though the max durability for the Crystal items is 1/10 of the other flavours of the same item.
Re: [NEW] Dark Souls - Save editor
It was most likely due to setting the Durability to 9999. Another issue is that it will not allow me to Drop any armor/weapons I've added with the editor
