usually yes it would. but i've made a template that will reduce the size and still keep the exact qualitty of the video(only tested w/ my anime thus far).

For example:

Rozen Madien

B4 converting

Eps 300MB+ each
720x480
mp3 192kbs

After
Eps 80MB-110M
720x480
Mp3 192kbs

The video was the exact same quality as b4, but way smaller in size. I'll upload StaxRip 1.1.7.0 w/ my template I made tomorrow since atm I'm uploading a JTag rip for the Xbox 360 for my thread on xbox360iso

As for movies and crap I only watch them on my laptop along w/ my anime. And I'm way to broke to even think about getting a huge tv.

Yeah if you use my template it will cut the size down by almost half in most of the cases, but my template is only for anime. I'll make another one for movies. Just used it last night on a 7.48GB BlueRay rip of Garden Of Sinners Movie 7, and cut it down to 2.8GB

Thanks man, this is great. Every mkv program I've used in the past was way more complicated, and took far longer to do it's work. Obviously cutting the filesize down would cause some drop in quality, but the only time I've noticed it with your settings was with a very large file having slightly less smooth playback.
