It's good but overpriced. You don't need an i7 unless you're doing video editing.

For that you should be able to get GTX560 gfx ($250AU) 16gig corsair ram with still plenty of cash left:)

Re: A question for all the computer guys

I think its better to buy a normal pc not a laptop.
    1. a laptop with such specs is like a pc+built in high powered heater. its nowere near a laptop(closest is lapcoocker)
    2. its simply to much money for a laptop. if something inside breaks, u have warranty. once. next time something breaks, ur ff'ed.
    3. u cant build in new parts.

if u assamble(or let a shop do it) a pc, its cheaper, u have better specs, and probably on every individual part warranty(at least, i have that). on top of that. if some new "Jesus" part comes out, like a graphics card. u can buy it and build it in(not forever thou, slots change every 2 years or so lol) instead of needing to buy a whole new pc for that part.
most important thou is that maintenance is much better. + normal tower pc's are much more hufterproof than laptops. u drop a laptop. its dead. u drop a pc, well ur doing something wrong in general if u need to lift up ur pc that much.

you can save yourself a lot of money if you get a desktop instead, 15 years is highly unlikely because laptops, having all the parts so close together without a top of the line cooling system, will wreck something in there.

Also, your battery won't last very long either.

Re: A question for all the computer guys

Thanks for the feedback guys :)
But my laptop i am using right now is from 2000 and it still works just fine and it has 60 gb hardrive.... lol
the ram is maybe 1gb but if i can make a 2000 year laptop last for 12 YEARS maybe even more i am 100% that this one i am thinking about buying will last for awhile.

For people who are saying buy a pc my room the way it is wont be able to fit in with all the cabinets/beds etc

And i have a cooling system that goes under the laptop so it does not overheat and battery charger so anything to that matter is no problem

For assembling it i know the basics about computers i am not a technician also the money is no problem so the big question is
    SHOULD I PURCHASE THIS?

That is a very good computer but I don't think spending 2000 dollars on a currently amazing computer is worth it. Moore's law will kick in and in 2 years that computer may become outdated. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moore's_law

It's a good laptop. If you have the money to spend, go for it. You should be still able to play games at decent quality for about 4-5 years.
