After a leaking of the teaser trailer for Forza Horizon, it can finally be confirmed that the game is real and it is coming in the fall of 2012. During this week's announcement at GDC 2012 the developer was officially named as Playground Games, which includes a variety of veterans from the racing genre including former employees from Black Rock, Slightly Mad, Bizarre Creations, and Codemasters. Turn 10 will be producing on Forza Horizon.
There aren’t many gameplay details surrounding the game yet, but Forza Horizon has been described as a “fast-paced, pick-up-and-play racing game." More information will be made available as E3 approaches. In addition, a Porsche DLC pack has also been announced for Forza 4. The pack is set to include 30 various Porsches, 20 new world events, and 10 brand new achievements. The add-on is set for a May release.
