well as far as i know this device is only available in japan i know of no reseller that sells this outside of japan
and there are some reports stating that the dev team of this "codefreak" (the name of this device) are going to make it work for newer CFWs
but as long as it is only available in japan it wont get us anywhere till we either are able to buy that or to get a hacked version of it that works without the dongle

Hey jkipp82 can you shed any light on a new jailbreak for my ps3 version 3.60 i have only played it like 4 times so i dont know much about them i hear there is not such jailbreak for this version if thats true then anyway to downgrade ?

as far as i know if you updated past 3.55
well then you will either have to wait until someone finds a way downgrade or to jailbreak that version

but as for the moment there is no such way... at least i don't know that there any of these exists atm

There is no method as of now to downgrade to a lower firmware, due to the new checks and limitations within 3.56 and 3.60, Kakarotoks, has stated that he has a way to JB later firmware versions, and it should work with all future versions, However he won't release it or state the structure until 3.7, comes around or later. However, if you have a JB console with 3.55 or below, There's a method with Graf's linux tools to get into service mode and you can downgrade to any firmware you wish.

on my old fat ps3 i use to have, codebreaker and gameshark did work but on my new slim they dont because of no more ps2 backward compatibility, i miss my old fat ps3 XD
