I understand that certain games have almost no online players. I'm sure we have all experienced it in some form or another. However, if you are going to charge for a pass to play a game online, I feel that the company has no right to shut those servers down. I've played new games and have had trouble finding people to play online with. In recent memory these aforementioned games would be PGR 4 and any Ace Combat game. I understand that it costs money to keep a server online, but how hard is it to keep some capacity for a game on a sever? Dwindle down the resources for games that aren't played much, but don't completely shut down the servers. My friends and I had lots of fun and long-standing rivalries with older games a few years back. We played "The Outfit" and NCAA Football 07 for a very long time and we were stopped by server shutdowns. 'The Outfit was not a great game but it was fun for my friends and I to play from time to time. I've rambled but my point is that EA could lower capacity on these games instead of taking away the online service completely. EA is not thinking of the budget shoppers that love older cheap games because they are a bargain and still a quality title. What about achievement hunters? Some achievements are no longer obtainable. There is a better way to go about this and EA and other compaines really to need to reassess their shutting down of servers.
I trnd to avoid buying EA games unless I am able to download it for free and it has no online achievs. I am done giving these motherfuckers my money.
Thats what I hate most about EA. They tend to shut down servers although some people arte late catchers and they would miss the online achievements. They are cheap.
Look at all of the mini DLCs they make for some of their games. The aim is clear that they want to make the most money out of poor gamers.

i used to play tiger woods a lot and ever year there servers got worse for kick you out of the game.
i'm still waiting for the day EA to shut down its company and gives us back our game industry....
they destroyed almost everything they bought...

and the Universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots.
So far, the Universe is winning.
