Not that its that hard, Vanguard Rushing can beat any difficultly if your fast enough, (I beat Gold with 3 vanguards rushing everything that moved while staying in a pack)

A good set up can destroy everything, though turrets, Geth Pyro's and Banshee's are the few things that will destroy you if your not careful. But just stick with Human Vanguard, Max Nova, Charge and power damage increase and your set.
Only small suggestion if you ever try this, stick with Geth, as they don't have anything that can OHK you if your close, it is still possible against other enemies, but they are easiest for Gold

Actually doing a Story Vanguard on Insane (NG+) and i'm cruising through everything with very little trouble

MP wise I've noticed running 1-2 salarian engi's with max decoy makes life easy, and if you got someone who can stasis phantoms, its cake walk honestly.
