All the information you need to know, including the price and release date.
By the time you read this, Marvel vs. Capcom 3 will be in stores across the nation. Who knows, maybe you've stayed up all night playing match after match with online opponents. Regardless, you're probably wondering when Capcom will begin the inevitable expansions to the game through some of the DLC it has already partially revealed.

Alternate costumes include Chris Redfield, Ryu and Dante.

Early this morning, Capcom pulled back the entire curtain. In addition to Jill Valentine and Shuma-Gorath, two characters that already come with the Special Edition of the game, the first DLC pack will include a variety of extra costumes, some of which significantly change a character's model, as well as the already-announced Shadow Mode.

Fortunately these additions won't cost you much. Capcom has set the pricing at 400 MS Points or $5 on the PSN Network. MvC3 owners will be able to download the extras on March 1, 2011. Here and in our Marvel vs. Capcom 3 image gallery you'll find a number of screenshots of the new costumes, and we'll have a video for you first thing in the morning.

Plus Thor, Captain America and Iron Man.

What's unknown at this point is what this DLC means for Special Edition owners. Those of you picking up the special tin case version of Marvel vs. Capcom 3 no doubt noticed the code to get Jill and Shuma. You probably also noticed it said "available March 15." Does that mean special edition owners have to wait a couple extra weeks for the DLC characters? Will the costumes and Shadow Mode be included? We'll try to track down some answers.
