Gamekult has revealed Ubisoft is preparing a sequel to Rayman Origins — and it's coming to Wii U.
The site grabbed a video of Rayman Legends, a new four-player co-operative platformer that promises exclusive content for Wii U. The video shows multiplayer with the Wii U controller being used to move platforms and display gameplay.
Most interestingly, it uses the Wii U controller's Near-Field Communications (NFC) technology to put new characters and items into the game world. The video shows players placing a Rabbid figurine or heart onto the controller, which then warps a Rabbid or extra health into the game world.
The game also supports online multiplayer — good news for those with no friends.
