Dungeon defenders need help changing item description

I have bben trying fore a wile now to chang the description of a weapon and just kepp curpting can someone help

Hmm, I don't know much about that, but if you already had a description on it you would have to make the new one the same number of characters as the previous one. Or else it will insert new characters and that will corrupt your save, don't know if any help, but I tried.

I'm making a video on how to do that.. best way (provided you don't changes the bytechecks / and possible internal checksum) is to take and item which already has a description, in the string data side you'll see it, and swap it to an item you wish to have the description. Then replace the characters on string side without adding or removing any bytes. Look for this right after item colors, 00 00 00 02 20 00 00 00 00 02 20 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00...... so here: 00 00 00 02 20 00 00 00 00 02 20 00 00 00 00 [Paste Description Here] 00 00 00 00
