Maybe user access control is preventing the decryptor from running or something like that? Both Sephiroth's and my editor work for me on 64-bit Windows 7, the fact that you posted that neither work for you suggests is something more to do with your computer.

hi Seph, I think there is some incompatibility between this editor and Windows 7 ultimate x64. Please check it out.

I'm gett the "Unhandled exception blah blah" as well.
Going to play around with it for a while and see if I can figure out a way to get it working.
Also, I'm using a 32 bit version of Windows 7.
    Here's the log:

Alright. Apparently I've got it working now since my save loaded. All I had to do was take the "lostodysseyencrypt.exe" file included in that LOSEV5.1 rar file Sephiroth posted a few pages back and drop it in the folder with the original files. For some reason the LOSEV5 editor would not open, but doing it this way seemed to do the trick.
Thanks a ton for the editor, Sephiroth.

thanks man.. just got started this game...

i've downloaded LOSEV5.1 and i got NET framework 4.0 installed, and places the user.00 at the same folder of the editor...
i copy lostodysseyencrypt from LOSEV5.1 folder to Lost Odyssey S.E 2011 Update 5.1 folder
and i run editor form the Lost Odyssey S.E 2011 Update 5.1 folder... it WORKED...

Windows xp doesn't have this issue, you can put your folder anywhere you like :)
