This is not a referal, or a spam. My Gold ran out yesterday, and I have been unemployed for a long time. So, did a little search on the internet, found a deal, and want to share. Note: it apparently is for Silver members only. Just make sure you turn off auto renewal.

That's because it auto-renews, and the renewed subscription will be regular price. It goes through xbox.com, so it's legit.

The problem with this is that it isn't a prepaid code or anything, it works the same as doing it through your 360 (or through Xbox's website). So, if you don't want MS to have your credit card information, this won't work. That's the balance between prepaid versus buying directly through MS: on one hand you don't have to worry about some multi-corporate empire having all your credit card information, but on the other hand they often give sweet deals that you just can't get through Walmart or Gamestop. You just gotta decide if it's worth the trade.
