kingdoms of amalur bugged mystic hammer quest (NEED HELP)

okay so i've gotten to the part of the warsworn quest's where you reforge the mystic hammer in the hall of the firstsworn, when i try to reforge the hammer it takes the mystic hammer remains but doesn't give me the compleated mystic hammer.

does anyone know anyway around this?
i don't wan't to redo nearly 30 hours of gameplay again.
this game is so buggy this is my second time it's bugged on me the last time it bugged at the wall of thorns because it didn't give me the armor i needed to pass through it after playing for about 20 hours. so if there is no way around this thats about 50 hours of play wasted on this game.
