Save games are made at intervals of 3 seconds.
The difference in the number of "Humanity" in the inventory.

Fair light!? Seems like these r offline saves from the pirated dark souls...hope they r not different than the ones made on an online profile? I read somewhere u can't use offline saves for online play
Hope the PC fix comes soon coz I made a mistake of not backing up and messed my NG+ ..really a huge mistake on my part to try a beta without a backup...only a fixed editor can save me now :p

That Kinda sucks for u ... backuping a savefile before modding has to be a habbit... if u dont , then u will learn the hard way.

The good new is , i figured out why its corrupting , seems like there is a second hash located at the end of the savedata , 0x20 long.
i still have to figure out the chacksum type with the length used for calculation.

Yes, it doesn't work with the PC version. If you "toggle display" before loading, the character is cleared to the default. Doesn't load either.

I'm also in the "pirated to try, then bought" camp. You can't transfer your save games from offline mode to a GFWL online account. Huge bummer, but I'm more than happy to just edit a fresh save with my stats/items, and make my way through the game again.
