Will start this guide off by saying the first 2 guide's are not by me, only the last one, and all I did was take his information and cram it into an easy to understand way. The creator of the first two threads is a member named
"porchmonkey" both of these guides are of his making and not mine. All I'm doing is posting it here to help others.

Insert XUID Into Your Offline Profile

since you cant use avatar files without a XUID heres a tut on how-to insert a XUID into your "offline" profile.

be aware that the profile will be changed to a Online Profile.
i have not yet figured out, howto disable the "connect to live" dialogue.

stuff required:

LeFluffie
Modio
Hex Editor of your choice (HxD)
1 offline profile
1 xuid (for this tut ill be taking mine) = 0009000001AA9253

copy your offline profile to your PC.
your profile is stored @
hdd1:\content\E00randomNumber\Fffe07d1\00010000\E0 0randomNumber

make a BACKUP! maybe even 2 or 3

Start Modio
open your profile using Modio:
Tools / Profile Tools / Account Tool
Click Load Profile - Select your E00randomNumber Profile
Click Extract From Profile - Save File as Account
Load File dialogue should pop up - Click YES to "Would you like to load this extracted Account file?"
Click Decrypt Account file
Click Save Account



Start Hex Editor of your choice.
Open Decrypted Account file
goto 0x00028 and start inserting your XUID (i.e. 000900001AA9253)
Save file







Start Modio
open your profile using Modio:
Tools / Profile Tools / Account Tool
Click Load Account - select modified Account file
Click Encrypt Account
Close Modio



!! the next step could be done using modio also, but for me, the profile does not work using modio here, so i use LeFluffie !!

Start LeFluffie
File / Open File / Select your E00randomNumber Profile
Click Contents Tab
Right Click Account - Select Inject File - Choose Account file
Click Security Tab - Click Fix
Close LeFluffie



Start LeFluffie
File / Open File / Select your E00randomNumber Profile
Click Profile Tab
XUID should now show your XUID
Close LeFluffie

Copy Profile to Xbox.
Select Profile - Could not connect to live message should appear
use Avatar DLC (of course requires dlc to be patched using your "new" xuid)




Get Avatar Clothes DLC WORKING! *buzz* jedisaber


NonLiQueT figured out how to Unlock Avatar Clothes DLC for your JTAG XBOX360.

heres a little tutorial for you on how to get it working.
(keep in mind im not a hacker/coder or whatever you call those skilled people, so excuse if i use wrong terms)

**YES YOU NEED A JTAG XBOX TO DO THIS**
**NO FLASHED DVD DRIVE IS NOT = JTAG**
**NO YOU CANT USE THIS OFF USB / CD / DVD**

so, since i made that mostly clear, here we go.

first get any avatar clothes dlc. i.e. we take this Guitar



if you dont like it, suck it up

lets take a look at the DLC itself:






0000090000006DDCA5 is something like a LICENSE-ID, to which the content is bound to.
so unless your LICENSE-ID matches this, the content will not show up.

if we yaris-patch or dlc-patch this file now, we get this:

if you avatar dlc has been yaris patched like the one in this Thread
(Steampunk / Halo 3 Shirt / Gears of War COG Suit)

you can fix it manually by doing this:

[NOOB FRIENDLY] Avatar DLC Guide

I'll be using the newest YarisSwap (Check Downloads Section Of The Thread)

1: Open up your copy Of Yaris Swap, and go to then click "ProflieID's" (Refer to screen shot below)


2: In the winform that popped up from clicking the "ProfileID's" button, mouse over and click "Open Profile", and save your profile info. (Refer to screen shot below)


3: Click Load ID's. After clicking it you should see the 3 box(s) load w/ you [XUID, profile ID, and Device ID's. (Refer to screen shot below)


4: Now check the check box under options that reads "Avatar DLC, Replace XUID". After which click the button that says "Go To Folder", and select your folder containing your Avatar DLC item(s) you want to use. When selected click the button saying "OK" (Refer to screen shot below)


5: Finally when it load all the Avatar DLC(s) click the bright red button that says "Hex Mod / Yaris Swap / Options". When it is done you are now ready to use your Avatar DLC.

Hope this helps simplify and make the whole process easier. Again all I did was simplify the process for you using the information I gathered from porchmonkey's tutorial threads for Avatar DLC.
