Having trouble Searching threads

Hello,
I type in l4d2, or left 4 dead 2 and I never get anything related to it. I am using the search bar at the top right. Am I mentally defective or does it not work so well? for reference I am looking for how people are playing online with certain mods. I have Diamond and understand mostly just the basics of USB modding. Thanks for your time.

It's not that. The search bar shows results based on each word in your search, in order of newest updated. So you'll find a lot of threads that have the word "dead" but not the other words (for instance, a bunch of Dead Rising or Dead Island threads). While using the search bar is always encouraged, it doesn't work as well as it could. There's nothing that the staff can really do about it, either.

It could also be that you're looking in the wrong forum section. If people are using mods online, it's probably that they're using a trainer. I know Hellboy made a L4D2 trainer a couple months ago. So it could just be that the forum section you're looking in actually doesn't have the information that you're looking for, and you should try a different section (ie looking in the modding section when the information is in the trainers section).

Google has a ways to narrow your search. For instance, putting quotes around a phrase will only show pages with those exact matches. When there's a specific topic that I want to look for but can't seem to find with haven's search bar, I google it like so: https://www.google.com/#hl=en&sclien...w=1024&bih=622
