Did you try to change your systems language to english and resave the game? I'm gonna try that out as well since my games were saved in german, too ;)

    Re: XCOM Editor v1.6

After modifying my game I get an error message about missing download content "SlöàÁUot-Pack", which I assume means "Slingshot-Pack". I've got that DLC on my disc, so I guess the modded savegames won't work if you saved them with the DLC active.
I will run a new game without DLC on my disc and try modding it again.

Confirmation ;) After deleting the Slingshot- and Elite Soldier-Packs I was able to mod and load my saves. Might redownload those packs now.

    Re: XCOM Editor v1.6

Hi, I just wanted to post this for anyone looking to edit their soldiers values.
You will need the compression toolkit, horizon and hex workshop.
Use Horizon to extract your game save and decompress it, once you've decompressed your file, open it with hex workshop.
Use the find function (looks like binoculars) to search for the first name of intended soldier.
I find it useful to go into tools > find strings and set the string amount to 5 then select whole file. This just highlights all the names and properties that we'll be looking for.
once you've found the name, scroll up, not down and you will start seeing stuff like psigiftbool and traversals, go past all that and you will come to aStatIntProperty. This is what you are looking for!
There's a whole bunch of them but the only ones you need are the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 8th. Respectively being; HP, AIM, DEFENSE and WILL.
You're gonna be changing the 16th bit after the highlighted (see above) aStatIntProperty, change it to 03E7.
This will change your 4 main stats to 999.
    Save the changes.
    Re-compress your file.
    Replace the original in Horizon.
    Rehash and resign.
    Enjoy!!

    Hope this helps.
